TEST DRIVE | Skoda Kushaq 1.5 DSG Automatic Style | WORTH BUYING ? 

Hi Nitin, although the reviews you gave are not on the good lines but here's my first month review of 1.5 DSG Style 2023 Model. 1. I've two service centers in proximity of 10kms form where I live, so that should suffice for me however, this totally depends upon individual location, so can't really comment if this is a negative. 2. I've completed my very first, very long trip on this car from Delhi to Rann of Kutch. 2600+ kms and the overall mileage I got was 17.6kmpl, with a highest of 18.8kmpl for 777kms. 3. Infotainment system I got is 8 inch one, and I've no complaints so far. Wireless Carplay would have been better but it's not utmost priority for me. 4. Haven't faced any issues in AC cooling till 35-36 degress, will get to know the exact performance in peak summers when it gets 45 deg in Delhi. 5. Revers gear camera stays on for about 8-10 secs and I think it's a feature rather than a fault, and I kind of like it but again it's personal choice. Clarity could have been improved for sure. 6. 1.5 at least is not under powered and in fact, feels like a beast. 7. So far, after one month of driving and that too done a long 2600+ kms trip, I've no complaints to make.

Brother, go for the honda elevate or diesel variant of seltos Or creta... But not for skoda kushaq 1.5 dsg. Because maintenance is very high for taigun and kushaq. I have taigun at present topline mt 1 litre

How much high are we talking about? They told us 5-6 thousand per year@@babbi116

I just tried the 1.5 DSG cuz that’s what I wanted. No compromise on power.

Makes sense, but would be good to know what you're getting. I felt the 1.5 is a better engine for lower speeds as well

@@pannags777 yes. It definitely is. And with manual override and putting it in low gear 1, you can literally take this car out of some tricky situations easily. Rest we’ll see when I get it. Delivery is still awaited.

So far I’ve tested in pre winters only and results are good. Will have to test during peak summers next year.

Considering the engine, drive dynamics and build quality, I don't think there is any other option in this segment to be considered. Having said that, everyone have their own preferences.

@@SevenCreations IMHO, interiors of Skoda Kushaq/Slavia doesn't justify the premium it charges. Owning a car is an experience of everything including the interiors. Skoda has cheapened out with the 2.0 version whereas the previous cars had great interiors with timeless design and packed with whatever points you have mentioned.

@@sameermohanty7974 well, I generally don’t care much about interiors and features and rather go for good engine and build quality.

@@SevenCreations Interiors would be a point of contention for many people including me because Skoda is also known for its premium interiors. Squeaky plastics aren't what skoda is known for.

Did a 2600+ kms trip from Delhi to Rann of Kutch. Overall mileage was 17.6kmpl and max I got was 18.8 kmpl on first day from Delhi to Abu road 777kms.

I get 10-11 on city and 14 of 15 on highway and it’s 1.5 dsg while cruising on 180 I easily get 15
