My husband and I have had a 2005 TrailBlazer EXT since 2009, and it served us very well through two moves, extended trips, severe Syracuse weather, and numerous home improvement projects. One of the best urban SUV's ever!
Man i love seeing videos like this. Growing up with my dads trailblazer, it hits home when i hear the car start up and rev. Love the Trailblazer. Such a good car. Still have it. 14 years old and still running good!
Currently own a 2004 LT trim Trailblazer. Sure the interior was outdated in 1996, but it's still comfortable and mine came with premium sound which gives $500 dollar aftermarket stereos a run for thier money. It has 116,000 miles on it and that 4.2 doesn't even think about quiting.
Are all 03 trailblazers automatic or are some straight shift? I'm buying one soon trying to make sure it's automatic first the gear looks as if it's straight shift tho
I prefer the Envoy a little more I’ve owned one and I’ve sold it and that was the biggest mistake I’ve done as I regret selling it and miss it but it’s ok now I own a 2017 Chevy tahoe
These are great trucks, lot of power even though its a straight 6. My 2002 has 183,000 miles still looks immaculate and drives great. They aren't fast and aren't meant to be, but I have a fast car for when I want to drive fast.
This is what got me hooked to this channel 12 years ago lol. I had a 06 trailblazer ext (first car) punch it going 25-35,70-75 you’re gone. My mom would always say “catch me while I’m rollin” before she let me have it 🤣🤣🤣
my friend has an 02 Envoy SLT and that thing is a dream to drive and I love the I6! most reliable of its time and 270 hp is a ton for 6 cylinders! Anyways Im looking to get a trailblazer because GM did a fantastic job with these SUVs
The Chevy TrailBlazer and the other SUVs of the GMT360 chassis were built in Moraine, Ohio, just like the Blazer before them! Ohio Pride, country wide!
I have a 97 Blazer, which I was using to haul trailers with. It is an awesome ride, with plenty of room for a lot of stuff. It was a hell of a lot better than my Jeep Cherokee, which was cramped with the gear shift lever, and the 4wheel shifter, side by side. I'm looking at an 03 Trailblazer in the city, as my poor old Blazer now has transmisson slippage, due the the very hilly terrain where I drive.
Great driving...beautiful place... Looks like a very complete car...here in Brasil one of the same year of fabrication would have half of the accessories...
I have a 2008 LT very similar, but mine's got the 5.3 V8 :D So mine is quite fast. It handled really good on perfect roads, but I live in shit-road central. So I ended up getting new tires, shocks and stiffer springs. Now mine handles great.
I love my tb. I have a 2007 LT, used. After I got it this last February, me and my sister took a 5,000 mile road trip to CA. I was worried about the gas, but it actually wasn't too bad...I averaged about 19.8 miles per gal.
i have an 02 LT as well, its my 2nd car, but its the 4th car ive driven and its my favorite BY FAR. you can make it look ANY way you want, its just SO AWSESOME!!!! I LOVE IT!!! p.s. the engine sound WAY MORE aggresive in real life. ANY SOUND OF ANY ENGINE IS GREATLY reduced on video.
My old 97 blazer is gettin kinda old, looking at a 03 trailblazer as the next choice of purchase! Love the blazer, the only time my 97 has been in the shop is for its yearly oil change and tire changes from winter to summer tires!
I have an 05 Trailblazer EXT. 5.3L V8. I LOVE her to death. I got her with 13,000 miles on her 2 years ago. Such a smooth ride for such a big truck. Plus, she looks mean as hell coming down the road at night with the headlights and the foglights on. : D
Wtf Fr ? My 03 takes off on people man I be beating sc400 , G35 , 300srts man this car is a beast people sleep on it just because it’s a suv. I’m Cloning my soon to a V8 since the SS looks sexy
Hey how you doing you got a nice rig there. I'm looking at an 03 Trailblazer and an 07. They are both LT. Just wondering did Chevy change any body lines or the front grills on those trucks of that year or anything subtle?
in my personal opinion this was one of the cooler looking suv's that gm produced, i mean it had chevy trailblazer, gmc envoy, isuzu ascender, buick rainer and the saab 97-x, all built on the same platform, and alot of them looked similar to eachother
I have a Chevy Trailblazer EXT 2006 V8 with 300 horsepower. I love it it is great for everything because i hunt and drive everywhere and my family is huge!! 5 people it fits great!
Got 190,000 on my 2003 trailblazer. Still runs good. But- sunroof doesn't work anymore or cd player, fan for heater doesn't, leak in windshield reservoir pump out. What else. Oh some bulbs out. What next ?
Would you consider this to be a vehicle a guy would look good driving in? I can't make up my mind on which vehicle I want. I want a Ford Expedition EL but don't know if I can afford it yet so I was looking at the EXT versions of Trailblazers.
*(*For first car buyers in the northern par of the us or Canada*)* the trailblazer is one of the cheapest vehicles for snow and off roading *snow or mud tires are recommend*
yeah it aint bad i was just wanting a little more would have been nice to have the option to pull a good size boat or mid size camper, its great family car though.
the transmission on the USA: 2002-2008 RUS: 2004-present Chevrolet TrailBlazer Transmission 4-speed automatic 4L60-E and 4L70-E (only with LS2 6.0 liter engine)
its a good truck. mine has 137,000 thousand miles and no major repairs although it does have some electrical issues i would recommend it but it has terrible gas mileage
Chris Samurai not good. I have a 07 with a 5.3 V8 (obviously not good on gas) my dad has one with the 4.2 l-6 and honestly his gets about the same as mine with a V8 (bout 14-15 mpg)
yeah we wound up getting its a 05 they repaired the gauge cluster there was a recall on that year model i like it but that inline 4.6 is slow gas mileage aint to bad but it wont pull nothing either
I have one 2003 thrailblazer. I’m the first owner until now the best car it open the back window in on the side best sound heated sit , any problem I take of it the best.
I6 means the cylinders are arranged in a straight line. V6 means there are 2 banks of 3 cylinders forming a V shape. The main differences between them is a V6 engine is slightly more compact, while I6 engines tend to develop more torque than a V6.
maybe because it is not a v6?? had one not the most exciting vehicle there is,but it was an amzing cruiser the 4.2L was in line 6 cylinder and the 5.3SS was V8 400bhp
its actually a 4.2 at least thats what my 03 is. im pretty sure yours is too. yeah the gas mileage is bad for me at least i only get about 15 at most, and it is pretty slow. i never had any problems with the gauges though
