Different rev limiter sounds FINALLY, now thats a CHANGE i wanna see in racing games. DCT simulated too, automatic gears act as the real world counterparts. My bad: for context, it was about Alfa romeo 4C and Alpine A110, these cars seem to have more work done, the others are yes not done as for this demo we are getting.
@@LaidBackDeveloper forza horizon? Rev limiter sounds the same on every single car, its like blowing your lips and it sounds brrrrrrrr something like that when you do that.
I am so happy the 2CV is back! 🤣 I don’t understand what makes it such a fun car but I love it! Thank you for showcasing the car sounds! Everything sounds incredible
Two things I hope we get on this game. Firstly, a setting for realistic automatic Gearboxes. Not like forza ones that only change when they're at redline regardless of how much throttle you give. I want it to change as a real one would. If im cruising at low speeds, i dont want it too be screaming at 6k RPM i want it to change down for me as a real box would. Equally a nice kickdown would be cool too. Secondly, I hope the steering doesn't have that really weird feel too it. Games like the crew and Need for speed have it where the steering just feels way too sensitive and arcade ish. I'd like a decent balance of arcade and simulation. Forza steering is great. It feels really smooth unlike MOST other racing/driving games.
The gear shift thing reminded me of NFS Rivals, which did have the feature but at least for me it was frequently faily. I'd often have the accelerator on 100% and it would still shift into higher gears
So they sound even more lame? Its already painfully mediocre as is. A far cry from how sounds used to be dome in games 10-15 years ago. Its ridiculous how modern devs get is so wrong and make it utterly boring and flat.
I'm so glad the Mito QV is in this game! I've daily driven a one tier below Mito and I think it needs to be in more games! Aaaaaand they got the sound pretty right :)
The Shelby Cobra Daytona sound kinda reminds me of the sound you would hear when driving some of the cars from Midnight Club 3,the Murcielago being one of them.
It's probably just a placeholder physics engine while they pitch more interesting features, such as the sound design, car models, the UI, and what appears to be story driven tasks. I'm sure we'll see change in the physics engine, but as I understand it this will still be an arcade style driving game and we may see a similar physics engine to forza horizon, or need for speed.
@@plaindumbvariety8403hate to break it to you mate but the physics will not be much different if any different. The game is set to release soon unless they decide to push it back to 2025. Hoping handling ain't as bad as it looks I still intend to get the game
@@allevosyndicate2475 assetto corsa has one of the best car physics in the industry rn. It's the different camera angles that modders use which may be wonky and affect your perception of the physics. Same as here, it's the camera angles which are terrible ngl. It makes the car physics look like a mobile game when turning
@@54player54 No, you're the one who sounds depressed, since you're the one spending time to bash on someone from RU-vid. I bet you're an American stuck with his underpowered and gas guzzling V8 wasting his time to talk shit about someone wanting a BMW. Here in Europe it isn't that hard to get one, especially in richer countries like France, Germany and such.
If you played the demo and you wake up next morning and this game is your first thought, you know the time we all have been waiting for will soon be here!!
The sound of the Deltq Integrale is exactly how i've heard it in real life. The sound for the Beetle is kinda spot-on, however... the stock 1200cc engine can't be revving that high. And it accelerates like a dragster, apparently.
48 fps on 4080 laptop with 12900HX on ULTRA 1600p no upscaling. Even on ultra it looks quite bad, not going to lie, the presets dont change much visually, so you're better off just playing on low.
seems like they are best at the 4cyl sounds, I also really appreciate that finally they made the Taycan sound how it actually does and not just the electric motor whistling like in Forza
Glad to see some cars from TDU2 included in Solar Crown. For the most part most of them sound great, although there needs to be more variety with the flames and random pops and bangs on most cars, and also the shifting on the Nissan GTR needs to be faster.
@@I.AM.BIG.J Something that games had long ago. GTA Vice City has moving elements of the engine in a beach buggy it has. Grid 2/Autosport had moving exhaust tips and other details in 2013.
When I first heard of this game, I imagined it to be more geared as a forza horizons competitor, but this game play gives off more Need for Speed vibes. Either way, the car models are decent, and the sound design is pretty great, and i look forward to the games release.
@lRedKill3r Given the sudden surge of content from other creators with the demo, that impression has weakened greatly. Initially the handling model, and the roll style of the vehicles reminded me of NFS games I had played, and given what I could see of the drifting physics briefly displayed in this video it most closely resembled what I had seen in NFS games than other games I play. This game certainly stands alone in many regards, but it most certainly now, to me at least, seems closet in nature to both of forzas franchises. I'm sure my opinions and knowledge of the game will continue to change as more content is released, and eventually, the game is released for sale.
You think everything is using a sequential dogbox? Get outta here dude. Try drive a real car if you think im wrong, because Im sure most of the cars here have DCT, tourque converters, that sort of stuff, you know nothing about transmissions, because you either dont drive one or even dont try to fix em.
Many of the models are from TDU2, so it's not very new. Some of the machine models are old and don't look like new games. Still, I want to play this game. I have many fond memories of the TDU series.
Cars Sounds are perfect! But on a leftside traffic country they should design the cars also as a leftside car and not rightside. Also the steeringwheel animation (what I saw in other gameplays) should be more than 90°. We have 2024, they have to put some higher standards than in much older games!
Why is it that every damn car has to backfire like a crap tuned dsg golf gti? Damn, if a 67 mustang backfire, you either got one hell of an engine, or some carburator issues. Same thing for the Q7 V12 TDI. It had an automatic transmission more akin to something like an alisson truck gearbox, so now way you get backfires out of it like that (Also it's running on diesel...) Also, that backfire sounds awful. It's like they just recorded someone clapping their hand and were fien with it...
Thank you. Someone else who is annoyed by this. This game has the opportunity to set itself apart from the rest, because the TDU franchise was built on ‘Realism’ yet we have every car backfiring like a group B monster. Absolutely baffling from the developers
I love the physics, i didn't liked forza horizon 4 and 5 because i got tired of the physics, there is almost zero penalty for crashing or run over a fence or a curb
