It's alpha gameplay showed this year mixed with cgi trailers from recent years. The game is still being cooked, but I'm afraid it won't look that much better from this - after all Kylotonn aren't AAA company.
@@mrpeace3860 Yeah, it's still an alpha so I'm sure the final build will run better (if that's what You meant), because so far they haven't showed that much of the game so I'll wait with the judgment untill the release day.
i am still excited, but after experiencing motorfest's 28-player races i realized this game has some huge shoes to fill now, and cancelling houses on release then delaying the game to 2024 with no new Solar Club Letter in months is........ quite an interesting approach
@@JeremyBX Is Motorfest as grindy as the first Crew game? I'd like that game more if it wasn't for the incredibly low amount of cash won for participating in the events paired with ridiculous high car prices that made no sense. Other than that, I'm more worried about the Solar Crown ai, because TDU2 career mode was easy for that reason.
they just harming their own game with bad publicity.... or they giving it extra publicity by showing the terrible alpha version. soon they will show a drastically better looking game (in terms of gameplay as well), or this game will get cancelled 😅
Most likely the studio got completely screwed by covid because this game looks equivalent to a 2018 racing game. They most likely got super delayed and the visuals side suffered. Hopefully, the story and vibe of the game shines through!
For me it feels like the ground is moving and not my car, even the GT series games have this garbage camera, wtf dev, you really can't implement a proper moving camera like nfs or forza.
@@Nightboyvqlmao you're the one who is delusional here, TCM is just a copy paste of crew 2 with an Forza Horizon game mechanics. The only thing that stands out in Motorfest is the small details lmao.
@@distainedrogue536 I used to spent hundreds of hours on Test Drive Unlimited 1. It may not sold well but at least it was a great game at least in my option.
It doesn't have a proper sense of speed. No matter what trailer I watch, what car they are using, the car always seems to be going really slow. Reminds me of 90's car games.... but with nicer graphics!
Call me a hater or whatever, but does it not look like something you would play on your mobile, after like 12 years and the fact we're in the age of computing I was expecting more.
The handling is better than what this video is showing this is the fixed camera driving option its not stiff like this /or like gran turismo but like forza.
This game has open world a drag track a defent sized map city and beach. Signals and lights that work. Please have great customizations and cars please. What im seeing is great but the small instrinsic peices are what true racing fans notices please. Make another video detailing what were getting wirh customization/ cars/characters/ story
@benn8793 thats something new I've never heard like a late 2010 feature. Are u excited for such a feature. Also how will we make money if there's no story besides I guess head to head mvp?
I don’t see the problem with a racing game that’s like an MMO. I understand why some people don’t like _some_ multiplayer games, but this game where all you do is drive or race shouldn’t be an issue for anyone.
Now it’s getting closer to release, I’m praying it’s going to be a realistic street racing simulator where crashing gets punished by racking your car. Now that would be fun. People not taking stupid risk but calculated risk.
I LOVE to see some things carried over. Lifestyle aspects, car dealerships, blinkers, real life manufacturer options for vehicles. I have hope, the lifestyle in TDU2 was definitely nice.
I don't think so but I really hope they catch the gameplay feel of TDU2. Cruising with your wheel while enjoying some music felt awesome compared to FH or Motorfest. The simcade feel was great too, I think TDU just isn't supposed to be a bad arcade racer like whatever NFS has turned into.
I hope so too. Despite it's terrible handling model, cruising around on Oahu was awesome. Really wish real world locations would become more prevalent, less fantasy. I literally knew my way around Oahu because of TDU 1/2
honestly .. nothing new .. we already have this on forza / the crew graphics looks really flashed out , poor colors , soounds meh , map looks "ok" .. nothing exciting
You're presentation of tdusc is beautifully put together. I'm expecting this to be the most satisfying driving and race game. For a AA game it looks better than AAA race games.
This just looks like another arcade racer. I hope not. Where are the motorcycles? More than ten years later i would have expected helicopters aircraft jet skis yachts to all be included. this one looks like it has less that the old ones had. Oh dear.. Fingers crossed.
Well, TDU was the best, TDU:2 released after that was kinda meh. This one seems to be a little bit better than TDU:2 but still nothing compared to the original TDU, not even close. But I'll give it a benefit of the doubt, we'll see what it's like when it's gonna be released
8:58 Is this music in the TDUSC game ? It reminds me of the superb music in NFS III Hot Pursuit, NFS IV High Stakes and NFS Porsche Unleashed, the last three NFS games that were perfect and released before EA messed up the franchise. What I and a lot of former TDU 1 and TDU 2 players hope to see, is the generic feeling and atmosphere from both TDU 1 and TDU 2 in this new installment. It's quite hard to regenerate the same feeling we had while cruising around Oahu in part 1 and Oahu and Ibiza in part 2. I remember pre-ordering TDU 1 back in October 2005 and building a whole new PC just to be able to play TDU in its best glory. As a gamer in his 40s and a former betatester of TDU 2 and playing the final game for so long (I still play and alpha-test the game via TDU World), I can truly say I'm addicted to the Test Drive Unlimited franchise and I would hate to see yet another great franchise being messed up.
for it being hong kong it looks extremely dead. sleeping dogs did it way better years ago. yes, this is alpha version but I wouldn't be surprised if the actual game it's the same.
i know i will be dissapointed.... Sad to see my guy go away. It will be our last danse TDU. Thanks for everything but this looks trash in basically every aspects
What on earth is going on with the soundtrack at the beginning of this video? It sounds like someone playing Happy Birthday on a kid’s xylophone. Also damn this game looks budget as hell.
@kassperplus games do change alot when you're looking at alpha footage to fi all footage. I played the #2 beta 2 months ago, and a few weeks ago, I saw new footage from ALEX VII's channel
Damn it's shitty, the netcode is crap for an almost finished game, graphics are crap even if it's not the most important of all, but physics look meh and mainly it just looks like a basic no name racing game... ouch, definitely won't buy it :/
@aperturefilm 1 YEAR OLD alpha build. Search up nfs 2022 leaked footage and see what I mean. This footage was in its early development stage and almost everything will be finalized and improved at release
