First time running the largest engine allowed on the Tidewater 2500 Carolina Bay the Mercury 400 V10. Reached over 60 mph top end but it was still climbing. Subscribe for all new videos: www.youtube.com/@lowcountrybo...
The Mercury 400 pops that boat out of the hole quick with very little bowrise; very impressive. That's due to being a V10 and large prop. I've heard people hitting upwards of 70 mph top end on that but can't confirm that personally. Comparing to a 300 hp engine, please see here: www.seakeeper.com/faqs/how-much-power-does-a-seakeeper-use/ Thanks for watching!
