Thanks all for the input! Please remember that the real guru of home built airguns is Mr HM Buckley! me, i'm just a copy cat... All my projects are based around Mr Buckleys designs. When i built my first gun i had never seen a PCP gun irl... so i got all the knowledege from Mr Buckleys books. Once you get the understanding the rest is just elbow grease and basic machining operations. Thanks
@StealthDemon22 Hi, this gun turned out pretty good in the end.. i think it appears in some of my other vids.. First version used a 180cc FX airtube.. now changed to a 400cc bottle. It's now built up more "field target style", adjustable buttplate and cheek rest, fitted with a hamster and so on. I also just recently built an in-bottle regulator for it. Maybe time to shoot a new vid.. cheers
@ulanbatorgator Where do i get that book from? What barrels do you use within your projects? Do you buy them or you build`em by your own? Are they rifled? One more point, what is that paper on the front face of your receiver? is it there just to hide your mechanisms from us? eheh
@hatebr Hi again, yes i mostly use proper tanks... a HPA vessel that fails could cost your life. If you decide to build your own airtube i suggest you contact you local pipe supplier and explain what kind of requirements you have... I know this is not a good answer, but i don't want to give advice on something that might turn nasty. Hmm... I'll write you a PM!
@hatebr Hi, I bought the books from Mr Buckley himself, you can find his e-mail addresson on the website airgundevelopment(dot)com Regarding the barrels I use only rifled barrels, i don't make them myself. The cheapest way to get a barrel is to take one from an old scrapped airgun. The piece of tape on the front of the receiver is just to keep some crosspins from slipping out... Cheers
Hey dude, it's me again... I see you use mostly proper HPA tanks, you do not build your own.. am i wrong? Do you have any information on building pcp tanks? I mean, choosing proper tubing and wall dimensions, type of threads and so on....
