I really loved watching your video! It brought back some amazing memories. I was part of the official opening team back in 1998. A very interesting experience, i have to say lol I hadn't thought about it in so long until I watched this. Thank you =)

This is an awesome video! I just discovered Test Track here on RU-vid this week, and it looks so off-the-wall awesome! And while I really miss World of Motion, Test Track looks just as awesome and it's so cool that part of World of Motion is still there! Great video!!

I disagree. The new one is much more futuristic and fits the Epcot theme much better. Designing innovating and testing new technology

Does it fit Epcot better? Yes. Is it a better ride in general? No.

@@yeemcgee8149 The new one is just like a video game with no real-world practical application. Test Track 1.0 actually made me interested in how cars are tested when I was a kid- whereas Test Track 2.0 would just inspire kids to play more video games...

I just wanted to say how much I enjoy your videos and especially listening to them in the background while working. BTW, as a suggestion, I'm huge fan of all the nostalgia ride/park music, and I would really like to see something on the composers, musicians, and studios where all this happened. It's hard to argue that the music makes a big part of the video and ultimately the memories of the attractions. Just a thought... keep up the great work!

Something interesting I just noticed/remembered. With the 1st braking/steering test at 25:48, I thought I remembered there being orange cones in the path of the car. Sure enough, I found a video from 2000 where you can see them clearly. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-rf7fW7L-Yb4.html They are at 0:58 seconds. I remember when I saw them in person, they would rise out of the road after the car moved over them. I guess they went down very quickly as the car drove over them. And sometime in the last few years of this ride, they were removed.

Please They Need To Bring Test Track To Tokyo DisneySea's Future Land: An Upcoming and Technological Innovation Themed Port Area

Except Tokyo DisneySea has a Journey to the Center of the Earth ride that uses the same ride technology as that of Test Track. Besides, this ride was about how America (more specifically GM) tested their cars. For all we know, Japan doesn't quite follow the exact same techniques as displayed here.

They replaced Motion World with this 9-year old boy fantasy, and attendance went up.

In all honesty, World of Motion wasn't very daring or creative compared to the rest of the original Epcot rides. Teach people about the history of transportation- Love it! Great idea! But have a ride that moves at snail's pace and is mostly a bunch of animatronics that were recycled models from the Pirates of the Caribbean?- maybe in 1955 it would be groundbreaking, but to me it was very understandable how it didn't last long.
