As a lady of a certain age, 65, I am learning so much from you! I always thought that my make up was fine but using your tips and similar skincare routine I actually get compliments! Last week I saw a couple of ex colleagues that I haven't seen for 15 years and was told more than once that I looked amazing. It can be difficult to get some of your recommendations here in the UK but so far I have found acceptable alternatives. Thank you for all of your videos, you are such a helpful person. God bless you xx
Very informative, dear friend! I’m a die hard fan of the Coco and Eve body foam and face mist. Everyone thinks I’ve been in the sun. Looks so very natural. Does rub off on my sheets and some clothing, but it’s the best I’ve found after years of trials. You look absolutely radiant!!! Hot pink is your color and I teared up when I saw you had on your mother’s earrings!💗 Just ordered that top!!!! You have such good taste!!! 💗
Great info but I have walked away from sunless tanner, at least for now because I have found a new favorite which has stolen my heart, Westmore Beauty Lasting Effects Body Coverage Perfector in the color Golden Radiance. This isn't a sunless tanner, but rather body makeup and it is amazing! There is no odor, no transfer if done properly, and easily lasts for me over a week even through showering. It gives a slight shimmer that becomes almost undetectable. It covers all my irregular skin tones, veins etc. It goes on like a dream, especially if you use their large application brush. You just buff lightly after application and you are good to go. It doesn't sweat off in even Florida's humidity in the normal elbow crook, etc. It is an amazing product which I have referred over and over and not one person has been disappointed, even my friends who have pools in their backyards, found it has held up beautifully. As the summer moves into fall I will trade color to their Natural Radiance, but for me at last, true success! Roberta❤
Roberta, I totally agree with you about Westmore. I have used this product for several years now and I love love it, and I have tried dozens of sunless tanner and suffered with the SMELL…and hours to wait for “a tan”…Westmore is immediate coverage and lasts me about a week. Sometimes I need to touch up a little. I love you Sheralee, and watch you alllll the time. But wanted to share my love for Westmore
@@Laccy41 I live in The Villages in Florida with a heat index often in the triple digits, and it still works wonderfully for me. At least for me the key has been in the buffing. Hope you have great success! Roberta
I have tried over 50 self tanners. Over the years. My favorite so far is norvell solution ( I put the solution in a foam bottle ) Tuscan plus . It's such a unique undertone /color guide. It's like a deep sunburned / red toned . It dries immediately, smells pretty good , and it lasts about a week. I'm hooked.
I look forward to your yearly self tanning videos because they are so in depth and informative! I’ve gotten the best results listening to your recommendations 😊 Thank you for doing the hard work for us! I appreciate it! ☺️❤
These are so helpful! I love that you do these. I’ve been using the Coco & Eve sunny honey ultra dark. I still do two coats. Seems like I always need two no matter which one I use. Also…I love your eyeshadow look in this!!! It’s so pretty!!!
I've been waiting for this video. Thank you so much for your opinion of the self tanners. I look forward to this every year. I was glad to see Jergens on your list. I get a good tan with Jergens. You look so radiant and beautiful. Enjoy the rest of your week. Stay safe. 😊😊
I love self tanning and my two favorites are Jergens ultra deep bronze that Sharalee showed and I apply on my face avoiding around my eyes and I will add on top the Bondi Sands Ultra Dark to my legs to give little more color. I prefer the tanning sprays that show color so I can see where I put it. No surprises. I always enjoy when you do these Sharalee. ❤❤
Wonderful video! I'm excited to see the next one. Coming from a French ancestors, I'm so white I glow in the dark!! Lol! I can tan if I'm in the sun...I just don't like the heat. Tan skin looks so beautiful. Your makeup looks gorgeous!
A few years ago you tested Tanologist a liquid formula that is applied by mixing it with face or body lotion. I’m still using this and it’s my go to for a touch of color. Just love your channel and have been a follower for quite sometime.
Thank you for all your videos. You really give a good idea of how the self tanners work. A quick question. Have you tried the bondi sands techno color in caramel? And could you make a comparison to the emerald one you like so much? I would be so grateful!
Thank you Sharalee for this informative video. I always enjoy your work. I love your look today, so Beautiful! I just purchased the Cocoa and Eve Sunless tanner and Face Mist. I haven’t used them yet. We’ll see how they work. I used to use the St. Tropez all the time. I just find all of these sunless tanners have such a strong scent. I also get brown spots as well from sunless tanners.😊🙋♀️💕🇨🇦
I’m not a sunless tanner girl but your video was really informative. I was all into your hair style your neat top and your eye look Are you laughing ? Haha. Your hair style looked awesome so fun to have a new look. Change is good. The pink shadow makes such a dramatic statement. 👍. You are such the expert on the different tanning products. I learned a lot even though I don’t tan Have a good rest of the week 🩷🌷🩷
The picture of you and Miss Gracie is sweet and beautiful❤🌺. And in this photo you can also see how beautiful your tan looks. It's not that noticeable in the video because the light and light box absorb so much😘
First off you look stunning in this video! This is such a beautiful color on you! I also love that you are wearing your mother’s earrings. I have a few pieces of jewelry from my parents and when I wear them it’s like a part of them are always with me. Second.. Excellent sunless tanner video ! Thank you for all the details it definitely helps a lot. Sunless tanners are a hit or miss. I have tried out and love a few from one of your past videos. I picked up a few others out shopping along the way too. Always interesting to see what it looks like while applying & waiting for the final payout of color afterwards.
Very detailed video and thank you for this. Did try Jergens too and it did nit get me dark at all, not even a medium tan. And the BondiSands (in purple) wasn’t that great either.
Great video! By the way I wanted to tell you on your recommendation I bought the nume flat iron and the Zuvi blow dryer. I absolutely love them both. Thanks again. Take care.❤
My goodness you did a lot of work on this video. For those who do self tanning I’m sure they appreciated it. As for me I enjoyed watching but like make up I’m not one who does it. I guess I’m lazy in my old age. You did a great job as you always do. Take care and God bless.
Awesome video!!! Thank you so much for all you efforts and work! I would totally be interested in your opinion about the hyped Norvell Venetian tan ( which can be used in a soap pump because it’s originally made for spray tan) AND about the b.tan mouse!
I admire the work that goes behind this video. I watch it every year and every year, I come to the same conclusion. As a Canadian gal 🇨🇦, I will keep my polar bear 🐻❄️ white skin… 😂
Hi Sharalee I have a question about the catwalk root boost. I have been using it for quite some time and just love this product but lately have been having some problems with my hair and using the same products as before. Did the ingredients in the catwalk change? Just wondering your thoughts on this. Thank you Michele.
I was hoping you would test the Bondi Sands brand. I’m sort of new to sunless tanner, so I don’t have much experience to compare. This video is really helpful!
So glad you found this helpful! The last two years, I've tested several from Bondi Sands...I'll link those videos here for you😘 2022 Testing- ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-E668E4g0ss4.htmlsi=S3yAt1AruW5Mblsx 2023 Testing - ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-XTngbk-foh4.htmlsi=_xnxnCaBxl-H-QdB
@@SharaleesBoxOfChocolates thank you!! I watched the rest of the video and saw you had shown your favorites from last year, which was Bondi Sands. I should’ve just kept watching before posting my comment. 🤦🏼♀️ I love your channel! I am a very busy RN, working on my Master’s Degree as a NP, working full time, and two boys in high school. When I’m home, the last thing I want to do is put on makeup. But you have inspired me to love makeup again and try new products. Your outfits have even inspired me! Thank you for all you do! Much love from Missouri. 🥰
I’ve used so many products my least favorite is Sandy Bondi instant. My favorite is Bellamianta-Rapid Self Tanning Mouse Expensive but amazing! Fast drying, no smell, will not budge after 1/2 an hour!
If you would have to choose the darkest darkest tanner, that you ever tried, no matter how it wears, dries, fades, price, etc just chosen by color intensity… which one would you choose? ❤
Hmm...great question! I'd say it's pretty close between the Coco & Eve Sunny Honey Bronzing Foam (Ultra Dark), Bondi Sands Self Tanning Foam (Ultra Dark) and the St Tropez Supreme Violet😘
Just wondered if you have had any experience with having an allergic reaction to them. My chest broke out in hives and had to see the Dr. And he said I was allergic to something in the self tanners.
Very interesting video. I don't use sunless tanners and it's not something that I intend ever using, I live where the sun always shines and getting away from it is impossible. I do have a question though, how good are they for your skin as I have the idea (maybe erroneously?) that they are full of harmful chemicals as this stains your skin?
Actually sunless tanners have come a long way and many have all 100% natural ingredients. Rather than using dye to stain your skin, they contain DHA which is derived from plant sources and approved by the FDA for skin tanning. DHA reacts with amino acids in the top layer of skin to create a tan😊
Oh yes! It's a temporary tint that is added to the sunless tanner to help you see where you've applied it. This can be extremely helpful if you are new to sunless tanning so you don't end up with streaks😆 It washes off when you shower and leaves behind just the sunless tan.
