Testing a skinner Peep Sight At 50 Yards Marlin 1894 Carbine 

I love my Skinner peep sights!

I put Skinner sights on my Henry Bigboy .357 and my groups at 50 yards are about the same. Skinner sights are great, I just need practice with aiming and trigger control. But shooting .357 from a lever gun is so fun I don’t care that much about MOA. Thanks for your video.

You need to get a clean target with a small bull so you can concentrate on it! No focus no group! That is a hand gun group my friend. What is that 8 inches at 50 yards you should be under 2 inches at least!

The first group was reloads, did you see the second group, with factory ammo? About 3 inches. My point of aim was the 2 inch red dot. I found a better powder that rifle likes that groups better now. IMR 4227 it works good in My gun.

you should try h110 or 2400 for your magnum loads. HP38 is a great round for 9,40,45, and especially for 38, but if you're trying to get magnum performance the others I listed are the shizzle. You ever try any cast bullets? Lot cheaper for more fun bud. I shoot cast out of my 1894s and have no leading at all with them. Either way, good job, fun video, keep up the good work. These were all just reccomendations. I load on a dillion, so my thrower could be a bit different than yours.

Would you consider giving the dimensions of that shooting bench on wheels. Ambidextrous and portable, it looks very nice

I just shot my new guide gun with the stock iron sights..They work fine..Im undecided on what sights to upgrade to eventually...So for now Im not screwing with them.
