Hello, the water-based/aqueous parts cleaners are meant only for de-greasing and cleaning of dirt from parts, the solution alone will often not remove rust or scale, even when heated. 100% cleaning of such parts often requires media blasting (for metal parts) or much more aggressive scrubbing and/or chemicals. My shop has had a couple of versions of aqueous parts cleaners for almost 20 years. The standard procedure is to manually wipe the worst of the grime from the part, then clean in the water-based parts cleaner, or for large parts use our larger water-based parts spin washer. I do enjoy your videos, and I do recognize the need for more sustainable practices in washing parts and disposal of waste fluids, so I am glad you are making these videos.
