Yeah, once he get the tuning figured put he'll need a ported saw 😜.

Sounds like its 4 stroking (too rich) assuming youve cleaned the airfilter and spark arrestor, then try to lean off the high screw

It sounds very rich, and it doesn’t want to rev out. I would turn the H and L clockwise until they close, then turn them both out 1 turn counter clockwise for a starting point. 🇨🇦

Hola disculpa no hablo español.

To cold. Needles basic L 2,5 H 2,0 And then lean out H jet a little if it doesn't clear up in tge cut. Also check if your throttle opens fully, sometimes you have to adjust/re-bend control rod between trigger and carb.

Wooly, you've earned a sub. I have this saw, as well as the 135 (2022 models). I've seen a few of your vids on this saw, and I'd say it runs pretty damn good once warm. Yes, they're all a touch lean on the low speed (typical), which you appear to have under control. They all run like this, and yes, if you add a touch of fuel via the low speed needle, it does improve. I bumped up the idle on mine to keep it from stalling. When they break in after a few tanks, I'll revisit the idle and if needed, needle settings. I do use a tach, which is a great investment (they're inexpensive). Regarding cold starting on these: if memory serves, my 135 manual calls for leaving the high-idle setting alone for a good 15-20 seconds (at least) so the machine can build up a bit of heat during warm-up, making your initial throttle inputs more successful (but still not perfect until you start cutting). I don't think I've seen anyone actually start these saws in accordance with the way Husqvarna calls for in their owners manuals. I'm totally guilty of this myself. After I unboxed my new 135 MKII last week, I gassed it up, put the choke on, got it fired, one click down for high-idle setting, then almost immediately started blipping the throttle to end the high-idle setting...and it fell flat on it's face lean, then came the stalling issues. Just to double check, I grabbed the manual and noted they specifically call for letting it run for a good 20 seconds on the high-idle setting (no throttle inputs). Once I did this it got much better. I did end up pulling off the oem exhaust outlet hood and screen (pathetically small outlet), which was a super easy job with a Dremel and their cut-off wheel, to grind the small spot welds a bit so I could pry the hood off. I then replaced the oem hood with a low profile, rectangular shaped West Coast Saw universal hood, which really cleaned up the low speed jetting in combination with a touch more needle. The WCS hood adds a bit more off-idle response and adds a slightly deeper exhaust note, which is barely noticeable. Not to mention, the saw breathes a bit better and cleans up the low speed issues noticeably. The WCS hood is attached using the stock screw on the clutch side of the muffler, and I only had to drill a pilot hole on the other side using a stainless self-tapper to secure it. You do have to bend the tab slightly to conform to the muffler on the starter side, but it's super easy, and looks perfect. Done in 20 minutes, looks stock, but more importantly, it's functional. I pulled the exhaust off to do this (also a 30 second job), as you may want to blow any debris out of the muffler after drilling the pilot hole. The saw will start better and run better. Again, I did add a touch of low speed needle/idle adjustment to round-out the set-up.

Once it pops on choke make sure you pull trigger. Next pull up on choke lever like you are going to set it again but now move it into run position without touching trigger. This sets high idle no choke Pull and it should easily start

Don't be afraid to play around with the low jet and find its happy spot. You mentioned it was cold, probably needed a little adjustment just for that👍

@@WoolysWorld Andrew is spot on. Your winter needle settings generally will end up slightly more richer than typical summer settings. You did mention in one of your other vids that you weren't very adept at "listening" to the saw insofar as jetting is concerned. Based on what I'm seeing, you'll pick up on these nuances very quickly. You'll see. Try this on your hi-speed needle: sit the saw on a stump or stable spot, after a full warm up, run it at medium/high speed throttle, then turn the high speed needle counter-clockwise until it blubbers (obviously rich). Then go lean until it peaks with a very clean, almost tinny sound. Obviously, you don't want to run it super lean WOT for long - just a quick touch of the upper RPM limits to get a quick feel. Then back off the high speed needle until you just start noticing the rich condition again. The changes in lean vs rich should be fairly obvious at high RPM as you do this. In the cut, (wide open), it should pull clean, but not too tinny sounding, with perhaps a slight intermittent blubbering on occasion and if you lighten up on the bar mid-cut, you should hear it just start to break up, indicating the saw is pulling a good amount of fuel while unloaded. I'd consider this pretty much generally accepted insofar as proofing up your jetting - especially on the top end. Bottom line: If the saw starts quickly, cleans up within 20 or 30 seconds by the time you start to apply initial throttle inputs, and transitions with no flat spots from part throttle to full throttle (out of the wood), your low speed needle setting is probably very close to perfect. Keep in mind, there is a bit of an overlap relationship between the high speed needle and the low speed needle, and this is generally where your fine tuning comes into play. Assuming you're running good fuel and a high quality oil, you can safely run the saw crisply without worrying about negative effects of a slightly lean jetting set up. Most operators adjust for season and/or weather changes (daily) if needed. I do.

run low jet up till it starts breaking up back it down 1/4 turn use idle screw to lower rpm. that fixed mine chirps first pull runs on second
