I demonstrate testing individual cylinder air-fuel ratios using the Autel scanner: Autel MP808TS. Test is done on 9th generation Honda Accords 2013 - 2017. This will also apply to other similar Honda cars and select other manufacturers. This is an active test useful for isolating misfiring cylinders due to incorrect air fuel ratios. The test is similar to the car engine cylinder drop test, or the car engine power balance test, or other tests used to control cylinder fuel cut in order to demonstrate how to find car engine cylinder misfire. It is an important test for finding faulty injectors or other causes of intermittent diagnostic trouble codes like P219A, P0300 etc especially when intermittent. An active scan tool (bidirectional scanner) is a useful tool for troubleshooting a car engine running rough.
