I go through how to test electronic throttle body using an active scan tool, the Autel scanner, MP808TS. More broadly, this is more of testing electronic throttle control system which is made up of the accelerator with its accelerator position sensor, electronic throttle body and the ECU. Using an aapropriate scan tool to test electronic throttle body can save time making diagnosis easier. Although done on 2013 - 2017 Honda Accords, the same test is available for many car brands. A dirty throttle body will cause driveability issues.
