I mean... most of these fights were rigged in favor of the dog. Dog is using all their abilities and dude is microing him when he gets in trouble to bring out the summons. Kholek not getting his charge bonus is indicative of playing to just one character's strengths.
Note grimgor did 1v1 rhe dog and brutalized her without using his armor and or weapon attached to his character in the campaign. The real test would be bring them all to lvl 50.
The silence really needs tuning down, imo. Stopping spells is one thing, but permanently supressing all active abilities is overkill. Also, he has way too much WS for a monster in his weight class. He's a flesh hound, not a bloody Dread Saurian.
No he isnt a dreadsaurian, he is the bloody dog of Khorne. The chaosgod of war and destruction..He should definetly have his weapon strength. He is mostly non ap. So that is not the problem. He is designed to be a charakter killer, with his abilitys etc. And he got not much HP. So he will be brought down fast if he got a matchup that isnt good for him. Especially dedicated anti large heros. In campain he can get very strong. But there are a lot of characters who can beat him easily, with or wthout magic and buffs. Silence may be strong. But as long as it stays an rare ability its definetly fine. I am not a fan of nerfing things, is there is a need to. Than nerf it for mp battles but not in campain. And i am not a khorne Player. I play mostly order. And even then i think he is fine.
@@UrsusPlayZ Why is he beating a bunch of opponents that are supposed to be bad match-ups for him, then? He is expressly designed to hunt enemy wizards, not beat some of the strongest duelists in the game. The point of Karanak in the lore is not that he hits particularily hard, he's not even the strongest fleshhound of Khorne (that's the one Arbaal is riding around on), the point with Karanak is that he is capable if tracking down his prey without fail and is nigh impossible to shake off once he's caught onto you. His stats only need to be good enough to let him dumpster squishy casters, he has no need and no reason and no justification to hit harder than most greater daemons. About 450 WS would be sensible, not fucking 630.
Wow, at least Skarbrand could defeat him, otherwise if Karanak defeated him too, it would be too much. It seems to me that the reason why Kholek, who was buffed in this patch, did worse than Skarbrand, is that Kholek is bigger, slower and clumsier, because of this he was less able to catch up with Karanak, and in battle he was surrounded by more generated dogs and dealt more damage to him , because of which Kholek did not have time to finish off the dog, in any case, I am glad that at least Skarbrand was able to win.
Wtf was that why did I watch Karanak run away seemingly to cycle charge,, but then let archaon fully close the gap and melee him like 3 times and he just runs away again, was that supposed to be a cycle charge? It was an epic fail and archaon cycle charged karanak there
