Two and a half a weeks ago I took a nasty fall off my mountain bike, dislocating my left shoulder and fracturing my humerous bone where it connects with my shoulder joint...I don't recommend it! So with the NSW Queens two weeks away I've been furiously trying to rehab my arm/shoulder. Ahead of schedule so far and rolled the dice today, testing it out my injury with my 284 Shehane.
The goals were simple:
1. Survive the shoot and don't aggravate my injury
2. Test a couple of tuner settings which have looked most likely
Conditions were pretty good when I shot with cloud cover masking the mirage, light winds and warm and humid (about 30 degrees Celsius with 80% humidity) . Unfortunately I dropped 1 point in each stage, 1 dropping low in stage 1, and the other pushing out to the left in stage 2. You should be able to see on the tablet to my left. I don't have an explanation for either right now as weather conditions were good, so I'll say it's on me and not the load/gear. The real positive though was that my arm held up just fine.
I still think there's more accuracy to unlock in this rifle but I'm fast running out of time to do it with the Queens two weeks away now.
