Big Sherp fan but getting down to numbers, can or should anyone spend 250k? On something to go slopping around in the mud and so on. At the price it seems to not be a Jeep replacement but just something for State wilderness maintenance work etc

With a top speed of 25mph these are crawlers when compared to most reg off road vehicles along with a low cargo weight capacity it is a lot of money to spend. The only real benefits are its ability to navigate tight areas, water, and steep inclines. But how far from civilization can it go with the other limits. Increase cruising speed and range and I might consider it.

What kind of engine is in a sherp

You need to take a bunch of these things and go save those people at the Burning man event. Just imagine how much you could charge for a ride out of that place?
