PAR COOK THE DOUGH FIRST BEFORE ADDING TOPPINGS!!! Helps sooo much texture wise! Just add a bit of sauce on dough first..!!!!!

Random facts: Olive oil, for this bread recipe acts as a “shortening”. It cuts/shortens the gluten strands of the dough which makes for a softer bread. Chewy breads like french lean breads often dont have any form of shortening/fat in them hence why they are chewy and tougher.

My husband and I followed this recipe when we first started making pizza at home but now we follow Adam Ragusea's recipe! His channel is great! Especially his recipe for Chicken Parm!

And since I'm super lazy I do the 2 ingredient greek yogurt pizza dough haha. It's still pretty good in my opinion. Takes 5-10 minutes only and then toppings and done :)

Also, try using the heal of your hands for kneading more than your fingers, it gets more gluten developed and saves your fingers some work!

I find that when making pizza in your oven, I like pre cooking my dough alone for about 15 minutes so you get less of that doughy dough. Lol. Also, my favourite go-to crowd pleaser recipes are: homemade burgers, pan seared steaks and my husband does an amazing chicken parm. Mmmm.

Same. First 10-ish minutes just the dough then with toppings. No option to buy another oven or anything fancy and this way it does the job quite well.

When you prove dough overnight it should be in the fridge, when proving in room temperature it is usually done in an hour. My fave pizza topping: salsa instead of marinara sauce, ham, jalapeños, blue cheese and mozzarella 😍

Sana Yaseen, it’s not as warm as it was before because it has been raining a little for the last week or two. There are now flash floods in certain areas, such as Gold Coast. Pools have been overflowing where I am in QLD. But the fires still continue, and it’s sad, really. Down south, near the fires, the sky is grey and blurred because of all the smoke!

Love this so much! Congrats on the baby boy 😍 your videos are the best to watch over breakfast while I am getting ready in the mornings. I don't actually make pizza at home but my favorite so far is from a restaurant nearby and they put the following: white base (with cream), mozzarella, chicken, banana slices and roasted almonds. It's honestly the best sweet and sour pizza I have ever tried! 😊🍕

My husband and I gave up on trying to use a peel and we just pull the stone out for the 2 minutes that it takes to assemble the pizza, sprinkle some corn meal first, then assemble it straight on the stone.

Rebelks88 I think it does, it gives the bottom a chance to cook a little without the top browning. We always have nice coloring on the bottom of ours! But we also let our stone sit in the oven at 500 degree F for at least an hour.

So Rachel: - my favorite pizza toppings are: garlic sour cream base, smoked cheese, hot pepperoni, green peppers, onions and mozarella Chris, my favorite foods to cook for my family: (all are Hungarian dishes) - tejfölös paprikas csirke (chicken stew with a creamy paprika gravy, with home made pasta) - töltött paprika (stuffed peppers with spicy minced meat and rice, in a tomato sauce, and we eat it with boiled potatoes) - rakott kaposzta (rice-minced meat-Sauer kraut - sour cream baked together as a casserole) (as you see a theme here... Someone once said: "the Hungarian cousin is homey, filling, cheap, and uses sour cream unnecessarily in everything". And I disagree. It's necessary.)

I don't have 1 pizza stone....I use round cookie sheets when I make pizza 😂😂 Also if you do it in the oven and want the crust to come out crunchier you could always cook it a little on its own then add the toppings and finish cooking it. That's what I have to do

Great job! I use this recipe and a few tips I’ve learned from making it- a lot- is to incorporate the liquids in parts, not all at once. I never let mine sit overnight- an hour or 2 is enough. I also roll mine out so it’s thin enough to cook with cheese etc... Use cornmeal on top of the pizza stone/cast iron so the dough doesn’t stick to it. I also put a little olive oil on top of the dough before adding sauce... any Raos sauce, especially the arrabbiata, is awesome for a little kick.

I like that Christopher is more involved in the channel now. Feels like he is genuinely co-hosting when he's onscreen, instead of ducking in to assist and then ducking out again. Our family "occasion" meal is lasagne but personally I love stuffed peppers with a veggie mince/cheese filling, served with mashed potatoes. It's our Christmas eve meal every year :)

When poking it with your fingers like that it helps get air bubbles out... my family owns a pizza shop and we have a little roller that pokes holes in the dough... My favorite type of pizza sounds weird but I love a deep dish with bbq sauce as the base then cheese bacon and grill chicken as toppings
