I bought the elf cc cream on a whim, and i love it. I dab around my eyes mixed with the wet and wild tinted moisturizer. I mainly use the elf for the coverage and spf. And def a little goes along way, like a tiny dot. I also have the bye bye undereye by it cosmetics, love it too but i opt for the elf more often.

The SPF in the product is NOT enough to protect you from sun damage. You should still use a dedicated sunscreen underneath your makeup.

UPDATE: THANKS FOR THE CLARIFICATION! I believe you favored the IT foundation. You applied it first to your right side. However, as you time-lapsed, you raved about e.l.f. but pointed to the IT side. So actually, IT was better! :)

The check in videos were mirrored because he filmed with the front camera of his phone. If you pay attention to the part of his hair you can tell.

No, as the other viewer said, the wear test video was filmed as a selfie using the front face camera which reverses or produces a mirror image - check the hair part as compared to his original opening video!

Probably the best way to film is being consistent so there is no room for confusion. Film the same way each time, so if you have to do a selfie for the time lapse, set your camera up that way in the beginnig. Thanks for the review.

I'm confused. You put the It Cosmetics on your right side and Elf on your left side, but then you kept saying you liked the Elf better while pointing at your right side where you put the It Cosmetics. I think the right side looked better. It had a nice healthy glow throughout the day. Why did you keep saying you like the Elf better while pointing to the right side with the It Cosmetics?

When he was doing the check-ins, he was using the front facing camera, so it mirrors his appearance and flips the right and left side around. You can tell by where the part in his hair is.

I use a brush to apply product, but then use a dry dollar store fake beauty blender to go over any areas that look heavy. I wear super sheer application.

We must be viewing the wear time differently. At 6 hours the IT side looks much better - it looked like Elf was wearing off toward the bottom on your jaw line and looked much more splotchy. Havent tried Elf, but I do love It

The skincare quality is very comparable! Both contain hyaluronic acid for maximum hydration and niacinamide to combat redness. Both of the products lay on the skin beautifully and don't feel heavy!

Love your videos and that you always do the wear test and check throughout the day! Super helpful 🙌 Personally I haven’t been a fan of the IT cosmetics cc cream because it broke me out and did not wear well on my skin at all, but I’m excited to try out the elf one, especially as it’s a mere fraction of the price 👏🎉

Ty for pointing out that's is thicker. I'm neurodivergent and foundations make me want to peel my skin off. Hence why I started using It cc cream. I adore elf products but their CC was just too thick for me.

I totally agree. I tried Elf - even though I used just a small.amount, it looked and felt heavy. It's now in my drawer to go the way of other foundations I've tried. It CC will remain my fav. Wish I could like Elf, for the cost factor, but just can't.
