I remember Wendigoon being a random conspiracy RU-vidr with like 50k subs and now his channel is huge. He made it.

Watching this, I'm concerned about Brandon's safety becoming a political figure. It could be doublely tragic. Brandon would be gone and more important, he wouldn't be able to do a breakdown on it.

A Forensics team also claimed the scratches on the window seal could not be made by the rifle without the but of the rifle extending into the wall. Another thing that is strange ia all the people standing and pointing after the shot was fired. Most normal people would get pout of the line of fire.

Awesome video... Ive always thought it odd that the public has generally accepted that JFK was killed by more than met the eye but King never got that scrutiny it deserved. I have always believed the same faction killed both King and JFK and I am grateful that you have shown the light to your viewers that may have never thought that His assassination was done by nothing more than a racist when in fact there is very little evidence the killer acted alone.... So sad that Brandan Herrera shot at himself twice (missing both shots), ran 22 miles, died, and then buried himself in a shallow grave 5 miles away from where he died. He truly was a troubled man 😔 His recap of the assassina- I mean completely normal death will be missed.

Brendan Herrera, the model 760 is one of my favorites, possibly one of my all-time favorites. Thank you for showing this rifle. I'm a bit of an old-school type millennial guy who likes old-school stuff and can appreciate its value.

i remember watching you during the boxing match as im a huge boxing fan in general and i ended up seeing this video pop up in my reccomended. definitely subscribed. i can somewhat understand why people might get triggered by this video but this is actually very well made and informative. love it!

It's rough that Brandon went out like that, life was just too hard, self-deletion from two self-inflicted gunshot wounds to the back of the head is a heck of a way to take yourself out.

It was nice knowing Brandon. It’s sad that he died by suicide, it’s odd that he was shot 20 times, though.

This entire time I swear at one point growing up I was told he had a bomb thrown in his home and he died that way. But now learning he was shot on a balcony makes me realize the fact that growing up I had a lot of misinformation told to me.

I find it crazy that I’m mass viewing your channel. I don’t feel comfortable with guns, so I don’t handle them, but my husband is a vet so of course we have guns in the home. But yeah, I don’t enjoy guns but love conspiracy theories and your humor and the way you do these tests really interests me and I love your personality! So thanks for being a genuine human, and making a fan out of someone who wouldn’t have normally enjoyed this content.

I was recently gifted this exact rifle, it had been purchased, put in the safe and never fired. The owner was a friend of mine who passed away and left it to his son, who in turn gifted it to me. I put a scope on it, zeroed it in and stuck it back in the safe. It’s absolutely immaculate, and I plan on leaving it for my grandchild who is now on the way.

I went to the civil rights museum as a kid, and they had a (rather macabre) display case on the MLK assassination, Rem 760 included. I took one look and said loudly to my friend, "Hey that's my dad's gun!"

fun fact, the King family won a lawsuit against the US govt recently for his murder. He survived the bullet and then died later in the hospital after seemingly recovering

I actually know the man who spoke for the king family in court against the FBI. He maintains to this day after many instances of being sued for his involvement in that trial that the FBI and the memphis police department were responsible for mlk’s death. He is an amazing man with incredible stories from his civil rights movement days.

My dad actually owns one of these rifles, the Model 760. It was the rifle he used for hunting when he would go with my grandfather in the 80's.

I dove down this rabbit hole about a year ago. Apparently it's on record that there was a special operations unit that was dispatched to Memphis at the time of the murder, likely as a back up unit just in case the actual shooter missed. Anymore, I trust the federal government about as much as I would trust Casey Anthony to babysit for me.

Today in the "Brandon re-murders a historical figure" Bradon gets into a FBI list... I mean, he gets upgraded to a "better" list than the one he already was in.

When you talked about the FBI cutting down the tree branch that was in the way of the window where the shot supposedly took place, that reminded me of how the SWAT unit that entered Steve Paddocks room (during the Las Vegas Massacre) found a cold and long dead Paddock and broke the window out with a hammer. (after body cam footage showed the windows were originally undisturbed during entry)

My good friend (also an LE employee) has a Remington pump in .308. My Grandfather had the Remington 7600 semi auto in 30-06. We called it the one shot wonder. Gas system was plugged as usual. When I became an armorer for my Department, I tapped out the gas ports and it worked great. My point, you can actually buy them new today.

Apparently, the rifle used on Dr. King had a barrel twist of 1:11.25". A company called Rock Creek manufactured military sniper rifle barrels with that somewhat unique ratio.
