Nice one mate that's catching loads of fines . I scrub my sieves with a brush while rinsing to get the slime out 👌👍

Had a brilliant time at the seaside, fish n chips, ice cream and spent Grahams money in the arcade 🤣 ready pleased with the sieve mate

Happy birthday pal! It’s all looking good! I’ve bought a beer sieve myself but can’t quite find a collar that fits perfectly to stop the water going down sides or losing the sieve down the pipe! Great little addition though 👌🏻

Thanks mate, I was lucky that my old cup fitted, maybe a cut down plastic funnel just placed on top might work if you can't find a suitable cup, just an idea

Hi Andy all looking great .quick question how often are you using vircon and how often can you use it . The directions on the back of the tube is a little confusing 👍👍👍

Hi mate it depends on what your using it for? If its for treatment of a problem then i would double dose the first time then use a normal dose every two weeks. If its just for general health i use it once a month and the dose is 1 tablet for every 1000 gals of water i desolve it in warm or hot water then pour around the pond i hope that helps. Andy👍

I find it alarming that a 200 micron beer sieve still catches muck after an eazypod and also how dirty that floss is after going through a tempest. It looks like all the filtration we actually need is a gravity fed 300 micron sieve and a bit of floss on top our showers !

No one filter will catch all detritus even the best drum, most fines will pass through filters several times before being caught. The filters I have do different things some will catch detritus, some fines and some are better at biological.

@@DerbyKoi i see what your saying the water forces it through the different filters so most gets caught but some gets pushed through to the next in the line. I guess that's why Oase do a 30 micron drum screen panel set, ain't nothing getting through that lol 🤣

Will the beer filter fit a nexus 220 do u know? Is the inner bit the same size? Its amazing how much gets through. My bead filter has floss after it on the shower n i have to change it every 5 days. EA will be cursing u 🤣👍🐟

Not sure mate I don't know what the 220 diameter is. You can buy the sieves in different dimensions so you'll have to measure your 220. Really pleased at how effective it is. EA will probably design something and charge 100 quid for it 😜
