You beat me to it, was going to say most helicopters it's pilot in the front and weapons in the rear but in the Apache it's the other way round to give the pilot a better field of view
The reason why the driver's seat is in the back seat of the Apache is because the Apache pilot has a specialized helmet. The operates to a camera that's in the front of the chopper above the gun, which basically wherever the pilot looks with the Special optic camera that's attached to the right eye. Wherever his head turns is where the helicopter turns. It's also attached to the cannon upon the front
Pretty sure the Volks in the Izayo 9mm pack looks like a Sten because it's inspired by the late WWII German copy of the Sten, the MP3008 or Geraet Neumunster or Volksmaschinepistole, which was basically a Sten with a vertical mag.
I wanna see a T5 defend the safehouse quest - 25 zombies at L1 is pretty insane... can't imagine what a T5 would look like, wonder if it would be possible to distinguish a T5 from a horde night, other than maybe the sky isn't red :P
That's a gorgeous Eurocopter (you see them used for Medevac). I still haven't re-installed since TFP had their little streamer tantrum, but I'm glad to see the community continuing to improve the game (god knows TFP won't).
The first mod would be great for a pvp series. The second idrk. The third would be cool for it's own series The fourth could be great for anything The fifth, could be great for a new series and the multiplayer server The sixth would also be great for the multiplayer server and a new series Seventh would be great for all Eight would be great for all Nine would be great for all Ten would be great for new series
Mods for this game are frustrating. Vehicle mods with a mix of good and crappy models, same sound used for all vehicles, crappy handling, untested, unfinished, turns what should be good mods into lazy products. Experienced this with most of the mods made for this game. If you are going to make a mod, finish it and make it great so I don't have to fix them!!!!! 4x4 sound reused for electric hummer is just lazy and stupid. FINISH YOUR MODS PEOPLE!!!!
I've been saying it for years now, it is the modders that keep 7d2d an active game for the community. The insane creativity they are able to pull off has really extended the life of 7d2d, considering we are still in E.A. after ten years...
Agreed, it's like The Fun Pimps found a developer which created a great world yet then decided to hire only mentally retarded developers and each one is addicted to a different set of drugs for creating the rest of the game. Why are The Fun Pimps not trying to hire these great modders? Why are The Fun Pimps so slow at providing updates? I can only assume The Fun Pimps spend most their time having parties and getting wasted.

I have a dream of someone makeing a Mod based on a paperback book seires called Deathlands and they have a matter transmitter in that book, but it does not generally transfer you close by, it sends you far away, in my vision of the mod you would use it rarely and it would send you to an entire different map, not someplace on the the same map.@@pantango5503
*Path Smoothing* has got to be the greatest mod i've ever seen... I was actually worried that TFP might not ever fix that but I assume it's for optimization purposes... If it is for optimization then it shouldn't be applied to hordes but for individuals is definitely a must.
TFP sincerely need to give huge shout outs and thank yous to all of the wonderful and talented modders out there for this game. I actually think that without these amazing modders, the game would have died off years ago with only die hard players coming back to check the new alphas. Every single one of the modders, even if a mod is not your particular cup of tea, deserves a MASSIVE thank you from the community! And thank you Mr. GNS for taking the time to make this video and giving these modders their well deserved recognition. I hope this video does well for you! :)
That will never happen. TFP is extremely prideful of their project from what I understand. They disregard most of what the community discusses as it is. (even if 90% of the forum posts are discussing nerfing duct tape). Why would they start thanking modders and people who have to make QoL patches?
It's so funny to see mod showcases and mods in general. It's like 'Here's how Fun Pimps could make their game better. Look at all this cool Quality of Life and immersion based things!" and they're just like... nah. Let's rework everything all over again.
yeah every time i play a mod there's always something that makes me "uhmm, why isn't this in the base game?", if the devs didn't spend half their time reworking and remaking core systems every alpha we would have a complete game by now.
That semi doesn't just need a crafting area inside, it needs a ramp and car storage so you can absolutely Knight Rider the zombie apocalypse. That'd be freaking incredible for multiplayer.

Then we have Tempest create Blue Thunder, so we can have a full 80's action vehicles playthrough. What else we got, Air Wolf, BA's Van, Magnum's Ferrari, and of course has you mentioned, KIT. Man that would be awesome.
Dude imagine if you had to pay the trader to get a helicopter flight to another trader (or other POI heli pad locations). It would be a missed opportunity if they made that an instant fast travel. Having a real heli ride would be amazing
@@generalgreevus8773 i can only watch modded 7d2d content since i don‘t have a pc to do so myself so i can‘t tell you what should happen exactly… but i can only guess that something went wrong either on the mod end or on your end. there‘s a whole forum and homepage for 7d2d mods and the modding community, you best ask there on what to do and ehat to prevent😊

The additional quests like defending the safehouse is something the game sorely misses, probably the highlight of the video. Flooded cities is also really cool too.
those cool car looking mod don't fit with the apocalypse theme, especially the game system where you make the car yourself. i always think there is something wrong, it's like you're buying the car 😂... there is also those old and dirty painting colour only when you want paint your base...
Genosis is currently doing another playthrough of Night of the Dead, and recent update lets you build an APC that lets you create a mobile base. The ability to do so in 7days, using different sort fo vehicles with different footage available would just be amazing. Box Truck, RV Semi would to be great for a rambiling nomad play style..
I find it funny how people kinda are new to elevators, while subquake added multiple elevators in his alpha 19.3 mod undead legacy (maybe even before that)
Hey Hey GN and S great content your self and Neebs G have really done some great work with 7 Days, i just hit 70 odd hours but unfortunately the server crashed again but this time the crash deleted all my spec magazines that i had read and all my level points ffs. The game spawned me at the beginning where i started its hilarious. Yeh i checked every file and poof all gone. And now i cant wait to start again and die with a thousand cuts 🤣 anyways loved the homage to Thick 44 a while ago nice. 🖖
Unfortunately the high gloss vehicle textures and vibrant paint colors really don't fit an apocalyptic world at all. Tempest is obviously a skilled 3D modeler if he's creating them himself but he needs texture work from someone who understands thematic design.
Dude, I'm a fan of what you do! In particular, I still haven't been able to find a way to mount the camera and shoot from the side. At the same time, can you play while recording from the side? How do you do it?
have you ever considered a build tutorial? I'm just starting. I have it all down except for builds. Everything just ends up being a square. LOL too many shapes to choose from so I just get frustrated a quit. I especially get stumped with roofs. Anyway, I love your videos!
Hey Tem, talking about new mods. Have you checked your "Your End"? it's a pretty tough but mostly balanced overhaul that adds a lot to the game.. such as oxygen, tiers of mutant zombies, a new trader, all kinds of new resources.. oxygen can be tough at the start and most tiers of zombies spawn on day 1.. but it's not as grindy as true survival or winterween or something.. more about combat survival and oxygen
They need to figure out how to slow gameplay while not making it to boring. I think the old school noise mechanics(Alpha 13ish) of drawing every zombie around in could work.
Idk if they changed it in game but someone needs to come out with a mod that fixes the gyrocopter/helicopter flying mechanics cuz the way they fly in 7 days such ass love the game but that's like my only gripe about it the dev that was like oh let's make flying mechanics nothing like flying mechanics..
Definitely a few good mods I'd be keen to try out. Also, how does one get the helipad? I tried searching for it in the creative menu, but it doesn't show up. Is it a mod you have to download yourself? I tried searching for it online, but couldn't find anything. No one seems to be able to help. Cheers.
1st thing I thought of when you went through the trailer was, Knight Rider! Lol it'd be awesome to get access to the trailer and have a mod for Kit and go around the wasteland doing random things with the car and semitrailer 😂
Hey bud, I was curious if you could try and get a hold of the Game options mod creator and see if he can add a extra setting such as AI on or off. I ask because realistically zombies are not smart, fast, and they should not hit as hard as the do and should not be able to get through concrete same with steel and iron since there body are decomposing and falling apart. "I asked you since you have a better chance to make it happen".
I swear ppl give the flying vehicles the shittiest of controls every damn time. If ppl would just use the same flying controls you get when in god mod then flying would not be a shit experience.
Now I need to see someone take out a hoard night with a helicopter and rockets. And we NEED mobile base option like the semitrailer. Be able to put down workbenches and everything.
The car car elevator is a god send but i do wish they do something more with the .45 ammo like a kriss vector gun. No one really uses the ammo, it's either sold to traders or scrapped for brass

I have a question my husband and i play together and we are trying to play with the izayo weapon mods. Im not sure if we are missing something or not but we cant get the multiple mods to work together. Do you have any thoughts on what we might be doing wrong?
Anyway to get help with a mod or someone to make one? Id like mod that allows pressure plates to respond to vehicles to automate garage doors using the same settings as the plate for identifier and response time. I assume this isn’t a xml editor function.
Nice update gnas, just one thing, do you know is there a mod that lets you to take up any containers (or things) and put it into your backpack so you can use it to decorate your base? I knew undead legacy has that function but not sure if there is any individual mods that does it , thanks bro
Another very cool vehicle mod you should check out is the Tigr Jeep by Zilox. Shoots 7.62 ammo and the turret locks onto targets. Target lock is one thing i wish the apache did.
