For the record, I think your hair looked adorable. And your comfort with false eyelashes, including dramatic ones, are starting to convince me to give them a try. I watched your tutorial (Thank you so much for that!!!) and have started wearing more modest half lashes, and once I'm more comfortable and skilled with them I will splurge on some of yours, because they're gorgeous! The Ulta near me has gone down hill. The testers are always a freaking mess. It’s so dirty and unsanitary looking, feeling. But I have another store about 20 minutes away and it is very clean and well staffed so definitely worth going a little further for a far better experience.

KVD foundation is my go to. I'm mid sixties with dry skin and I love that it feels like you aren't wearing anything and the coverage is amazing. Lasts all day no problem. AMAZING foundation!

I got the Pillowtalk blush but learned that the best way for me to apply is by dabbing it on my hand, smoothing it out with my finger, and then adding it to my cheeks with a brush. A little goes a long way.

I wear many different brands of lip products, but MAC is still one of my faves. No one does matte like they do. Always comfy... and, with my super dry lips, I am NOT normally a matte gal. 💋💄Great review, Risa!!

YES I SO AGREE! I can’t stand when influencers wear their big hair wrapped around their neck and faces, and their faces are barely showing. It drives me nuts. How do they not get foundation and other makeup in their hair? It makes me feel like I want to keep pushing my hair back while I watch them lol. Like…who does that while they’re putting on their makeup?

On the camera, the icy highlighter made the CT blush looks dirty and ashy. I’m much lighter (Dior 1W, Mac NC15 to NC20) and 2 dots is all I need and it doesn’t look, this way. Pillow talk shade is rather neutral and I’ve been pairing it with all sorts of looks. I’d recommend trying without the very pale highlighter

I'm super oily too...which I've embraced, HELLO DEWY SKIN! 😁 But I'm curious how the Essence primer will look with light coverage or medium coverage foundation...or even no foundation. And I agree about Ulta's lines! I live in the DFW area so it almost feels like there's one on every corner and no matter which location I hit up...there are long lines!

I loved watching the video. Being dry I don't think the foundation would be to my liking I've been into the Saie blushes and mixing them with a tad of their starglow and voila looks just like a CT wand I am mixing all kinds of blush colors liquids and coming up with some unique shades. Once I get to ordering Vegas us going with me to Cabo for the bug wedding 💑

I’m not sure if the Charlotte Tilbury blush color is wrong for you or not but I did notice that the icy highlighter that you put on the top of the blush made the blush go grey. Maybe that is what you didn’t like? I tend not to like the pillow talk light colors because they’re too cool toned for my preference, but I think it looked nice on you.

The foundation looks beautiful on you! I’m combo oily skin and got the same KVD serum foundation shade as you but it was too light on me but the undertone was right as I’m a neutral with slight olive. Unfortunately it was quite drying on my combo oily skin it may be the winter UK climate, so I may try a different shade for summer and hope it works then when my skin is quite oily

Have you tried a hydrating primer underneath? I'm in the UK also & I did find it felt tight on my skin. However, after a few hours, it looked & felt better.

@@franceskelly534 hi, thanks for your message. I actually don’t have any hydrating primer because of my oily skin and all my primers are matte and use them in summer mostly. I tried it under my moisturizer but I guess that’s not hydrating enough. Can you recommend any hydrating primer?

I used to have really oily skin until I hit my 40s and my skin has become more normal and my powders and foundation lasts much longer! I tried Falsies but they really irritate my eyes unfortunantly which made me sad because they looked great on my large eyes!

Great review. You look so beautiful and at the end of the video after so many hours of wear did not look oily, very nice. Sorry you shoulder is still bothersome. Have you tried rubbing some Blue Emu cream into the area there is no odor. That's what I am using. So good to see you. You are in My thoughts and prayers 💝🙏

I just received the KVD foundation but i haven’t tried it yet. It looks good on you (but then what doesn’t!) so I hope I like it. Just ordered some of the Mac lip ink and the Charlotte Tilbury blush. As always thank you for your videos!
