@@LifeWithKernelLee Do you have any thoughts on this compared to the Lynx models? I’m debating between a few 4 person tents, mostly for car camping. Ventilation is an important to me as it gets hot and humid in my area in the summer months. This in the 4 person version, and the Lynx 4 are in my list to consider.
@@StickTonesMusic did you end up deciding on one? I wish the Kelty had two doors to help with ventilation, I don't like the looks of the reviews on the alps lynx rain fly. I wish the Rumpus 4 was available already, that one looks pretty slick too.
damn, just found this video, i have my choice between this tent and the late start 2 for my motorcycle....great review, glad you tested it in the rain!
Nice review! Just ordered one with the footprint. Glad to see it it the rain and wind, great validation. Hopefully it will live up to my higher expectations now. lol Thank you.
I have a older Kelty tent 2 person but really only a 1 person , all so have a teton 4 person , still in the box . and other tents and hammocks . Kelty makes some good gear
We use a pop up canopy to cover the tent and then lower the backside to provide a slope for water to run down. Very seldom any water inside a tent. Living in Florida, we need all the help we can get 😄👍🏼😄 and such a simple fix…… Nope, it ain’t pretty but we stay dry. (All that matters to us) ……. 😱the stories we could tell😱
Did the flooring get damp or wet from the rain? also how breathable is it? I live in south Florida trying to get my wife into camping and she's not into being in a hammock like me
