I did forget to show the turn signals.... Here is a video of the turn signal function. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-qyY7NuEy_v8.html
Sweet lights!! I like the turn signal incorporated into the headlight so you can use the turn signal light for aftermarket lights that’s cool! Nice job Ben!👍🏻👍🏻🇺🇸🇺🇸
Dude, Im a fan of the channel but as soon as u said JW Speaker, I immediately applied for a home equity loan so i could afford a pair. Those guys are nuts with there prices, best bang for the buck. Quadratec stealth headlights. Under $300 no loan needed!!!!
I have the J2 on my JK they are awesome. I have the headlights, the fog lights and turn signals which cost about $900 on Amazon so a grand isn't bad for one set of headlights that will do almost all
I have JW2's now and from what I can see the new ones look a bit more refined, in conjunction with the pro6's so much better...I like the way you can control the brightness and color.. OH and forget the guy that might be in the bushes "SLINDERMAN" is behind you at 13:53 ....
@@v1_rotate638 problem is they suck. They use shit leds and they cant throw light for shit. Better off woth morimotos for 300 or whatever. Fuck the party mode your gonna use it once after installing it and thats all
Thanks for the honest review. Yes, JW does lighting very well. $1600 for a set of lights to light the way... maybe if you've gotten all the other things on your rug where you want them but certainly not until then. At first I was like nooooo they got you too, but I hope you continue to keep it real. That down to earth perspective and do it yourself mentally is what keeps you a notch above the rest. 👍
Great video. I'm running an older version of the J.W. Speaker headlights and think they are a great headlight setup. The only issue I ran into was the connection to my 2015 JK was poor and needed to zip tie them together. One thing missing in your video was how the turn signals worked. Other than that, great video and I enjoy following.
I purchased both the HEATED J3's and a set of the Trail 6 Pro. I'm thinking about purchasing another set of the Trail 6 Pro. I have to make sure they will also work separately with the app.. I have a aftermarket steel grille/bumper combination and there aren't any holes for the Trail 6 Pro's. I will modify a bracket and mount a set into foglight holes and the other set will mount on my A-pillars to replace my Rigid pods. I've wanted these every since I first seen them. I got in on the PRE-ORDER on the very first day. I have been waiting for 5 months for these to come in! Well, They are finally here!! Install tomorrow.....Excited to try them out!!
I will say though even though my axial headlight are a great alternative over stock. They are just a placeholder. I do plan getting either kc, morimoto or jw speaker headlights. But for fog lights I really think all fogs should be amber, white lights just dont cut it when it's raining, snowing or dusty. Even in town.
JW is known for their quality and high price. I do like the built in turn signal and the app but I don't like the price. I can't justify the price for the amount of trailing at night I do. Great review in all. Keep those videos coming. I also was wondering have you ever thought about a lighted whip on the back.
I've had their headlights in my old Cherokee and lived them. Quality is 2nd to none. Guess you sold me on some for the Gladiator. Thanks for the review.
I think it is great you are getting some sponsorship opportunities. I've learned a lot from this channel and I know that sponsorships are a huge part of making a channel like this successful. Keep up the good work!
Compared to the last headlights you installed, these are much better‼️‼️ I have been using JW Speaker head/fog lights for a while now & they are the best for spread & cutoff. I recently upgraded from the Evo J to the J2 series headlights along with the turn signals & they do not disappoint. I agree with you that the $$$$$ is too much, I would rather put that amount to something else, instead of headlights. Welcome to the party Ben‼️‼️ Enjoy brah 🤙🏽🤙🏽🤙🏽🤙🏽🤙🏽
Great vid Ben. Lights...Cool, fun and all that....but not for a grand. JW Speaker definitely makes a great product, but they are catering to a limited market due with their high costs.
I have an older set of earlier speakers lights that have the same type of awesome lighting. Yes they were expensive but worth every penny. Used the fogs for my driving lights the head lights were so bright. Hope you enjoy these they are the next line for awesome lighting. OMB
Being sponsored is more work then it what ppl think ....But ppl will keep watching Ben if he’s not a duche like some of those other sponsored ppl get then he’ll be ok to watch ......now would we all love to get 1600plus tax shipping for free or in eddies case tires axles wheels lifts at what ever his deal is he’ll yah we would but the biggest thing is social media foot print is what sponsors like synergy look for so RU-vid fb insta, it up just don’t be like some jeepers who think 60k needs another 30k in mods and not know how to handle ur rig
I do actually have an extra grille, it’s granite gray but you can always paint it, it’s the stock one since I went the angry eye route, let me know if you’re interested man
Sweet light, a tad out of my budget, but nice. Also when you were in the corn field right when you said i hope someone does not jump out, RU-vid put in an o'riley auto parts commercial, perfect timing lol.
I have them. Both the evo J3 heated and the Trail 6 Pro LED's. Light output is what you would expect for a regularly priced $500-$700 headlights in similar class and a $300, 3" offroad light (trail 6 pro). Their app sucks. I have to be directly over the grille for the bluetooth function to work. Also, the App continuously crashes on me. In-cab controls via cellphone cannot happen. Are you experiencing the same? Have you had alot of night, seat-time with these in your JK since installed over a year ago?
I am starting to feel like a mechanic 🤣🤷🏿♀️. Anyway, the lights are super cool. They look bright to me. 👍🏿 to the functionality. I am glad to hear you were gifted them. #OnlytheVeryBest Enjoy! Thank one for sharing.
I think JW Speaker makes some cool equipment but they are so ridiculously expensive for what they are. Your average set of $100 LED headlights will be a thousand times better than (non-LED) stock.
Hope they make some for the YJ. J W speaker make some for the YJ. I would definitely buy it if yall make it for the YJ. And I'm wondering if that's technically legal putting a turn signal in the headlights.
Pretty cool lights Yo. Too much money for me dude. Although i do agree that a good quality headlight is a great upgrade for your jeep. I did a review on the Truck Lite LED's and they are worth the money opposed to the knock off version Thanks for sharing Ben.
I have a JK sport and looking to upgrade my front axle to the Dana 44. Is there anything else recommended for support of larger tires. Right now I'm at 33 Terra grappler g2 and looking to upgrade to 35 soon
How do these compare to the High beam offroad headlights? Since the price has dropped on these trying to decide if these are worth the significant price difference between the high beam off roads. Thanks!
I would recommend a rockkrawler or Metalcloak lift. They are pricey, but the suspension is a major component of your Jeep, and a good ride is important!
I get that they are built with quality parts, and I get that they are American made, but I just can't see how anyone can justify $1000+ on 2 lights unless it was for a trophy truck or something. I picked up a cheap Chinese LED set off Amazon for $130 and it came with fogs too! And sure, they don't come with an app to play with or turn signals (although there are cheap ones with turn signals too), but I have them perfectly adjusted and the difference in light output is pretty negligible to justify spending like 10 to 20 times the amount. And the fact that if I broke one on the trail or something, I could just get another set, or two or three and still be in the green comparatively.
The issues with the amazon lights is that a lot of states are getting strict on LED laws and DOT approval, a lot of the knockoff lights are not actually DOT approved and just had them stamped in the manufacturing process. These are pricey for sure, and I don’t think they fit everyone’s needs, but they are a hell of a light!
I appreciate your honesty - great review, but the whole Jeep lighting craze has gotten out of hand. I'll stick with my life-time warranty High Beam Offroad lights.
I was thinking the same thing. Or get a flat strip of plastic and jb weld it as a patch on the back side. Seems much cheaper than buying a new grille when you don't have to or if the repair really won't be that visible
I was on board until you said $1600...lol. I bet they're badass and the ticket for those into the novelty of adjustable lights. I'd be interested in the 2nd generation that has the great lighting without all the fluff.
I have the LED package in my JL and for me to switch to another light setup, it needs to be clearly better than the factory LEDs at a reasonable cost. These miss the reasonable cost by a wide margin, and I can't even really tell what they give me over the factory LEDs. Maybe this is why there is no package for JLs yet.
Love your videos man... Unfortunately I bought a set of headlights on CarID.com and they’re crap! Now they won’t allow me to return bc I installed them so I’m out $200. When shopping for headlights you absolutely get what you pay for so don’t cheap out like me
I bought a nice set off Amazon that had hight, low,DRL,and Turn signals. The right one lasted about a year and burned out. Been driving around for 5 months with one headlight waiting for these to come in.
Warranty: All Heated Lights: Two (2) years • Model 8770 Locomotive Lamps: Four (4) years or 30,000 hours • Non-Heated EVO J3 Lights: Three (3) years • Model Trail 6 Flash, Sport, and Pro: Three (3) years
@@firemanmike1619 yes for sure that's why I said biased, but it's not a problem as long as we know it, but he's not the only one who got them from jw speaker... So they are running a campaign and honestly, I saw there products in person and they are good, pricey and maybe ugly but good.
Still salty that when I asked they said they had no plans for 9" headlights for the JL, but that they were "developing" an adapter bracket for the 7" lights. Don't see myself buying JW Speaker lights for a long time. Very expensive and trying to sell me lights not even designed for my vehicle? Nah. I'm good.
These have more functions for sure, however it all comes down to budget. The HB will be a more budget friendly option and still give you great light output.
@@JKGearandGadgets I bought the high beams. Can't wait for them to come in and get them installed. JWs no doubt they are awesome but I like the look of the drifters and from the video you showed and reviewed on them I think I'll be happy with them.
Dude, I just purchased the Highbeam offroad based on your other vid, and now a month later you switch to JW Soeaker. You must not have been happy with the Drifters. What is the story?
I mentioned that in the beginning. JW speaker wanted me to do a review video so they sent me these for free. I was happy with the HB, but it’s always nice to review another product that people might be interested in.
Really neat functionality! But I'd rather spend half that much and get a quality set of HID projectors that will blow these away in terms of performance/useable light output.
