The bugs you saw during that test were probably just on them when they were harvested and would wash off with a rinse lol. People finding huge caterpillars in their berries are definitely staging it

Fun fact that nobody asked for: Don’t wash your strawberries in advance of eating them. Only when you about to eat them then you should wash them off. Washing them off in advance causes added moisture which causes them to go bad and mold quickly🏌🏽‍♀️

Seen Ann Reardon talk about the bugs one too, and as she pointed out... Fruit comes from the ground. Bugs are on fruit sometimes. Wash your fruit when you get it! Just water without salt will work fine.

that induction stove does not "turn off" right away because it cools off itself first before "turning off". and also, it trips off many times when you put it on low temp because it tries to maintain the low temp, that is why you can hear it stop sometimes.

For the strawberry one, The bug in the Tik Tok was placed there. If there were big bugs you would see burrow holes or abnormal lumps. Some strawberries do have bugs but rinsing strawberries usually drowns these bugs making them harmless.

Just something to keep in mind - as gross as it is to think about, there's always going to be bugs on your fruit. It won't hurt you, and imagine how much time you would have to spent soaking ALL your fruit in salt water...

I mean strawberries grow directly on the ground, you know the place where bugs live. So what did you excpect? And most of the insects aren't in the fruit, but on it or maby hiding between the fruit and the leaves. And the bugs aren't poisonous, you can savely eat them and they are probably on any fruit or vegtable.

With the PB&J thing, my advice to anyone wanting to try that - just make it like a regular sandwich, leave a little gap inside between your peanut butter and the edge/crust so when it oozes, it doesn't necessarily go over. But yeah, personally I'm more of a fan of a fried (with a lot of butter, actual butter of course), peanut butter and banana. To me, that's *way* better than peanut butter and jelly. *Fantastic.*

5:26 this is what happens when people have nothing to do with the growth of their own food and don't really understand agriculture. If there was an insect burrowed into your fruit or veggie you will see a hole, it will be obvious. Fruit doesn't just heal over a hole like that. Yes, you should always rinse your fruit and veggies before you eat them for several reasons. But no, there aren't bugs in your strawberries.
