I always break the 3 color rule!! I remember showing up once in middle school with a 5 color outfit, and multiple classmates told me I don't have any fashion sense 😅 glad I didn't let that get to my heart
I would love to see a video of you expanding on the 8 point outfit rule! I think it would be fun to try and put together like 8 outfits following it to see what you come up with
“Never brush your hair.” I can’t even … 😂😂😂 I was dying laughing through this whole video. Not cause the content was bad, because this was like a giant middle finger to the entire idea of “rules” in style and fashion. I could feel you wanting to crawl out of your skin in some of those outfits and that really says it all, right? YOU have to like the outfit. It has to feel right. It’s fun and good to shake things up and try things out, but at the end of the day, it has to feel like YOU. Love it. That’s really the only “rule” we need.
the coffee stains on my teeth are god awful too. 😭 but if you use white strips, it’ll go back to being stained the second you have a coffee so what’s the point?
I have watched many videos explaining the 3-colour rule and it is funny, really, because there are so many exceptions you can explain that almost any outfit would have just 3 colours. Because, as they say, you don’t need to count neutrals such as white, black, grey, or beige even, and then also denim can be considered a neutral 🙄
Same same same on the button it up!!! I have the same anxiety! I love my clothes too much. What if something got left behind because it was like dangling off??
I laughed so many times throughout this video. Love seeing your personality come through during the creative process. Also if a Stanley cup is allowed to be an accessory, so is your McDonald’s coke! ❤😂
I think that burgundy and teal working well together is just color theory doing its thing since these are hues of red and green and red and green are complementary colors.
loved it. But I don't know if it just me but i think some of this advices feel a little dated. For example the wrong shoe theory or "flattering closes are overrated". I think we will be start wearing way more classy and narrow clothes again. I even think skinny jeans are right around the corner haha . I liked the more "boring" fits the most.
I think the "flattering clothes is overrated" misses the mark as advice but that the outfit looks good and actually is flattering on you! Imo wearing flattering clothing is underrated and that advice should be called something like "classic and generic advice on what's flattering is overrated" but that doesn't have a ring to it haha
A 5 minute ad spot on a 15 minute video is crazy, you better be making a LOT of money off this company and if not you should renegotiate that contract tbh. Just looking out for ya! I'm the type to skip through and watch anyway but this seriously hurts retention and is uncommon on YT for a reason ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
