@@nathan_cooper47 yeah haha. I can tolerate a needle for blood tests but it takes me weeks to psych myself up. If I had to have an injection directly into muscle though, It'd be very hard for the doctors to keep me still lol
Legit same. If youre in aus tho it’s every 12 weeksish so for me i can tolerate that since they are so far apart. Im probably gonna switch back to gel at some point myself tho tbh

I am just about to hit one month on the gel, and so far i have been pretty alright with putting it on every day (except for the other day when i accidentally forgot to do it lmao). i am moving onto injections at about three months in i'm pretty sure :) so this video helps alot.
I stared on gel then changed to injections- for me it works far better and works better with my life style. At least my fear of needles has gotten heaps better since getting injections 😂👌🏻 only down side is the acne 😔

I would not be able to do weekly ones either 😂 some people do have more spiking than others and some dont at all. Thats why it can be hard to recommend whats better for someone when everyones bodies are so different! Thank you she was farting a little bit throughout so that wasnt fun stinky doggo 😂
I just switched to gel after 6 months on shots, I haven’t been able to inject myself and I won’t have access to the nurse for a few months so my doc switched the prescription. Hopefully it’ll work out. Thanks for the vid.
I had a hard time with the hormone swings just day to day adjusting. I don’t think I’d handle a weekly spike very well at all. I’ll only switch to the shot if my wife gets pregnant (for safety reasons for her).
I switched from Testogel too after 4 months and am just 7 weeks into 250mg fortnightly IM of Primoteston having my blood test Thursday before my next injection Friday, I’m loving the injections over the gel, my best mate is a nurse and does them for me so that helps, I was given the option of the slow release ones you’re on, will see what the results say
@@nathan_cooper47 yeah the daily gel routine was a hassle showering then application and then trying to avoid contact and then not getting wet again for min 6 hours!! IM is painless in the thigh and at every 2 weeks it’s super convenient
I might try gel the first few months then switch to injections just so I don't get thrown into hormone central, give my body a bit to adjust. And I have a huge fear of needles, and I'm hoping once I start I can get over my fear. In america it is every two weeks, but since it's in the thigh and it's much smaller than the one you describe, I think it's more painless than the one you go for because it's smaller and since it's more consistent you get more used to it. I do have one question though: Should I have a friend or family member drive me home after it or would I be fine driving myself? I'm getting driving classes soon and gonna hopefully start testosterone after it so I don't have insane hormone levels while trying to learn a vital thing I need in the future.
You should be fine i manage to drive myself while sitting on one side of my arse 😂 considering its a smaller dose I imagine it would feel a bit less painful afterwards. Maybe get someone to drive you the first time so you can gauge how you feel after for future injections
@@nathan_cooper47 oh thank you. Also they usually give it in the muscle area on the front side of our thigh not in our arse here. So I wouldn't be sitting on it. I just wanted to know if it had any mental things that would make it difficult to drive, such as vertigo or dizziness, smth like that right after. Thanks for clearing that up! Also, there's been a new method popping up you might wanna try if you feel more comfortable with it. It's new so it's not as known, but, their called pellets. Similar to how you might get a huge splinter or something out, they inject the area with local anesthesia, cut open an area and you don't have to look if you don't want to you won't feel a thing, and then they'll put in the pellet. You get a new one every 6 months. You just have to do injections at first to get the right dosage for your testosterone levels and then change to pellets. Figured you'd might wanna be aware of a new method incase you wanna try it, some have said they might try it since it sounds much easier mentally and physically cause less injections and less consistency.
as far as i know gel doesnt make hair grow where you apply it, the gel just sends the testosterone into your blood stream, and i think testosterone only works in your blood, not on your skin.

I feel like the shot might be a better option for you, suffering once a week would be better than everyday I reckon. You could ask if you could do a slow release style like the one im on (reandron every 12-14 weeks)
I started to see results after the 1st week on gel,my voice started cracking and more energy,I’m 2 months on T gel now and my voice is still changing and my body odour and urine is getting a male smell and I’m getting some facial hair and leg hair,hope this helps you

Good thing im not a woman and have been monitored by several doctors throughout my use of reandron. The reason a woman shouldnt use it is because it gives you secondary male sex characteristics. I want those because im not a woman
