JEZUS!!! had to turn my speakers down... thats seriously loud!!,but sounds nice and raspy!, i got the akrapovic on my Tuono Factory, and thats as far as i can push it with my neigbours! safe riding amigo!
yeah, i know. i almost felt ashamed to push the throttle with cars and people around because it sounds soo freakin loud! but i love it. got a bit of a moto gp sound to it and you can´t say no to that! ;) it´s a small, nimble exhaust and it´s quick to switch back to the original one when it´s time for trackdays! :) plus, it´s got db-killers if you want to tune it down a bit.. will try that next time and compare the sound.. to bad the shitty days of winter are just around the corner. stay safe!
It's got a lot of a moto GP sound to it! I'm looking at Austin Racing/ SC Project at the minute but now I've seen this I'll have to do some research xD
Sc project is my favorite both visually and soundwise but it's to expansive in comparison to this one considering that i won't be able to use it all the time (on track). I got this one on a great deal which made sense. And i can guarantee that you wont be dissapointed with the sound! ;)

Hi, does this exhaust with the db killer pass sound inspection? I saw that you were in sweden? I'm from sweden too and I'm thinking of getting this one or the 2017 version, I'm scared it wont sound the same now that it has the euro 4 compatibiity.
no, i can tell you that there´s no way that this passes any db-test.. even the original exhaust is slightly over the limit on most tracks. also, i´m not sure that you can use this on the 2017 model since that one has some sensors and electronics inside or linked to the pipe. so i´m not sure how aftermarket exhausts will be installed on that one
The original is too loud? Holy moly the aftermarket ones must be nuts then. Haven't heard this bike in person but i was looking at the ducatio 1200r, ktm 1290r or this one and from vids etc this sounds the best. Only one I've been on in person was the ducati and that was a ton of fun
i have ridden all three of those bikes and to be honest none of those two are even close to what the tuono v4 sound brings. as close to the moto gp as it gets! :)
Alrighty, and the tuono is the cheapest too since the 2017 is coming out now = pushes the price of the 2016 down a lot. i currently have a kawasaki z800 and boy oh boy was there a big difference in power when I tried the ducati, power wheelie in second gear. I have akra without db killer on my bike and it's not super loud, would be interesting to compare with yours when the db killers is in on yours. Yours will probably be way louder still, haha. Anyways, do you need to map the tuono after changing to the exhaust you're using or any aftermark ones in general or is it just swap and go?
i had a z750 for 5 years before switching to the tuono, also with the akra no db combo.. and man was there a huge difference! i cut my lap times on sturup and knutstorp by 10+ seconds.. and there´s still plenty of room for improvement. it´s a phenomenal machine. you won´t be disappointed, i can tell you that! ;) i run the bike on stock ecu as I will change back to the stock exhaust before the trackdays begin this season. i might get the race ecu next year but i´m not sure that i really need it. the bike´s a bomb anyway.
