Just having a little fun with the old girl on the TET Slovenia here.
The 990 however is very difficult to ride standing due to the horrendous throttle....
I've tried my best to "fix" it but it "rideable" at best...my engine cut out when pulling the clutch is also still there...
Fuel consumption was kinda crazy on this trip...8,2l/100km when ridden like in the video.
Otherwise from 6-7,5l/100km.
I'll probably switch to a T7 in the near future...enough from KTM at the moment...

you went from the 1150gs to the 990? how do they compare offroad and in general?

I had the 1150, but not for Offroading. That thing is waaay to heavy for me. Handling wise, the 1150 is just a brick, compared to the 990 offroad...onroad however the 1150 is quite flickable. Fuel consumption is also lower on the 1150. Suspension goes to the 990, but brakes on the 1150 were better.

Ist schon ein geiles Moped!👍 Allerdings, bei unsrerer letzten Slowenien Tour war auch jemand mit einer 990er dabei, dahinter herfahren war jetzt nicht sooo cool, weil die 1.) mit Akra schon wirklich ganz schön laut ist und 2.) sie doch das ein oder andere Tröpfen Öl verbrannt hat und das stinkt auf Dauer schon gewaltig...😬 Dennoch. Ich mag sie!

Haha das glaube ich! Meine verbrennt zum Glück kein bisschen Öl...dafür umso mehr Benzin....auf der Tagestour von ~170km mit etwa 50-60km Schotter lag der Koffer bei knapp 8,3l/100km. Sonst war das Teil auch nicht viel sparsamer...Und die Kiste stirbt teils immer noch ab, wenn ich ab ~4000rpm die Kupplung ziehe und das Gas zumache. Wird wohl auf eine Tenere 700 rauslaufen...langsam hab ich genug von der schrauberei. (hab sicher schon 5-6 Tage reingesteckt in die 990)

@@StromerRU-vid nun, die haben offensichtlich unterschiedliche Geschmäcker die zwei, über 8 Liter ist aber schon auch eine Ansage...;-) Versteh ich das richtig, dass Du hinaufschalten willst und dann geht der Motor aus? Das wär zugegeben ziemlich bitter...

@@-ride- Es passiert nur wenn ich ab ~4000rpm die Kupplung ziehe und gleichzeitig das Gas komplett schließe. Dann sackt die Leerlaufdrehzahl auf ~1000rpm ab und meistens geht die Kiste dann aus wenn man nicht Gas gibt oder einkuppelt.

I've traced it down to the regulator I think....as soon as the engine is revved up, the voltage drops from 14.2V to 13.6V or less...I have the new regulator already at home. In a few days I know more. Update: The regulator didn't change anything...but my Voltage doesn't drop anymore 🥳.
