@ALARGADORDECU Grealish is a top player. Just not worth £100m. To have him in the same sentence as Antony is a disgrace. Just trying hard to hate on a city player, bless your little salty heart.
@tobipark_ 100% Tevez was one of the best players I have ever watched week in and week out. Not sure what your comment has to do with comparing Grealish and Antony though.
As a City fan some of the strikers we had in the years prior to tevez' arrival makes me shudder.... Benjani, Jo, Samaras, Corradi, Bianchi, & the never fit duo of Santa Cruz & Bojinov!! Then this monster arrives and the rest is history. What a player!
No doubt... Luka Romero reminds me of Tevez alot... I hope he reaches the height of Tevez aswell... It is impossible to find Messi or Maradona... if Argentina happends to find a new Aimar, Riquelme, Aguero, Tevez or Di Maria... they will remain an exciting team to watch and favorites at every tournament they play...
@@sebastianbardon391 Those other clubs have won plenty of titles since he left. However, if West Ham had gone down that season, there is a high chance that they still would be playing in the Championship now. It would've changed their whole history, their new stadium would have NEVER been built. There are plenty of Premiership clubs who got relegated to Championship and never made it back.
As a United fan Rooney was always my favourite player but I genuinely think if Tevez stayed at United for 2-3 more season then he would've been my fave. If we never sold Tevez I think we would've won the league in 09/10 and done 4 in a row
I always blamed the berbatov transfer. We should have made Tevez permanent instead we blew the money on berbatov. Dont get me wrong, berba was a good player but he didn't suit out fast paced football. Fergie went all out for berbatov and he didn't even trust him in the biggest games. With Tevez we would have easily won the 2010 title and possibly won the 2010 CL against Inter. We probably win the 2012 prem title. Rooney and Tevez was way better partnership than berbatov
@@sheedo1999 Brother for Years i've gotten slander for speaking negatively about the Berbatov transfer but your comment brought a smile to my face. Merry Christmas
@@NotReallyTho_I'm not a United fan but I always thought Tevez was twice the player Berbatov ever was, easily. It's strange to see comments when people say Berbatov was better, Berba is class etc. Tevez has everything Berba has, his technicsl quality, plus 10 times more power, pace, work rate etc. It's not even a contest.
@@siberianTiger639berbatov and tevez were both classy but tevez had better synergy with cr7 and Rooney. Doesn’t mean berbatov didn’t though. Berbatov was exceptional so it’s disrespectful to say tevez was twice the player berbatov was. Both were different packages.
From Argentina which was extremely top heavy back in the days he was my favorite, always seemed to be most honest and wherever he played tried to carry entire team on his back…
Juventus' fan here. Tevez played with us just 2 years, but was enough to set him as one of the best 10s all time. I mean... Sivori, Platini, Baggio, Del Piero, Tevez. What a player, LEGEND
He was insane. Such a menace. Such a combination of power, energy, agression, insane work rate and fighting spirit combined with technical elegance and intelligence. Was absolutely brilliant to watch him at Juve and in his first City years where he carried them (besides being great everywhere he played, but that were his peak years imo). Obviously he was a great part of that brilliant United attack with Ronaldo and Rooney too. One of the greatest strikers of the last decade for sure. He was on similar level with Rooney, if not better.
as Wayne Rooney stated one of his biggest regrets he couldn't speak Spanish to make Carlos Tevez stay at United. I know everyone is high on Alvarez but Tevez was a bit better he presses like him and his dribbles are better and long range shots
Unfairly treated. He would have won Argentina a world cup. Not sure why be was excluded. He was not just a rabid beast, he was also an intelligent player with an unbelievable touch on the ball whether in passing, dribbling, lobbing the ball or scoring always in the tightest freaking corners of the goal. Almost every goal is placed inches from the goal post.
I only came here to see the free kick that saved my club from relegation at the hands of Man United. We are desperate for a tevez right now, he’d be the perfect striker for us.
Never understood why Fergie snubbed Tevez for Berbatov. A legendary manager can have some mistakes in his career, but looking at how good he was at City and Juve leaves you wondering what would've happened if he stayed.
you just can be dumb, impossible. Tevez was the best player in Argentina until Messi arrived. Aguero was in the bench for Higuain. Tevez was the best player in every team he passed, even Juventus that goes to the final of a Champions he carried then to there. Aguero leaves Man City is champion of UCL kkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk.@@elixir9261
Even though I think alvarez and lautaro are good forwards, they arent on carlitos tevez level. Its crazy to think they won the world cuo with those two, but when they had way better forwards at their disposal they werent able to do much. But thats because competition was at an all time high, every national team was insanely stacked. Unlike these recent times where most teams are mediocre/average. 🤷♂️
that's because this Argentina has a better overall team, Argentina in the past had a Lamborghini in attack and everything below was awful, in 2014 they had Zabaleta and Demichelis in defense, the rest were very bad players, Mascherano in the middlefield, the rest were also very bad players, and in attack you had so many world class strikers you didn't know what to do with all of them, 2022 Argentina had Dibu in goalkeeper their best goalkeeper since Abondanzieri, defense was Romero, Lisandro, a really experienced Otamendi and Pezzella, Molina and Montiel that are also good right backs, Tagliafico from Ajax champions semifinal, and Acuña champion of europa league with Sevilla, they had a middlefield of De Paul, Enzo Fernandez, Mac Allister, Exequiel Palacios, Lo Celso, Paredes, the attack may have not been on par with the past but still good, Lautaro is a beast for Inter, but my point is the team was really good as a whole not just strikers like in the past
@Liquidcadmus tevez's level of consistency makes him worse than aguero ability wise there isn't much between them but I'd still give it to aguero he's slightly more talented
