I'm in my early 50's and I'm still cracking up laughing at Tex Avery cartoons. They are an absolute classic. Cartoons will never be this funny again. 3:17-"sheep, yer dern fool!"
Tex Avery cartoons were always a touch offbeat in a way that others weren't. First saw them on television in the 1980s and they were always a pleasure.
Not with the woke and snowflake people in current times. Can you imagine if Benny hill would make his shows today like he did in the 60, 70 and 80s, he would be demonized.
Same. Cats play by their own rules, even in a cartoon. You’d think it was gonna yell when he let go of its mouth, but it was like “Never mind my tail hurting. Why is this fool grabbing me?”
Small Crook: *Sticks his partner with a drill* Big crook: *Covers mouth and runs outside* OWWWWWW! *Runs back in and grabs the little crook* CUT IT OUT! *Runs back in* Little Crook: *Goes inside and grabs the big crook* OKAY! Love Droopy cartoons XD
@@batfox6263 I absolutely agree with this 100%. I'm in my 40s and this is still just as funny as when I was a child. Thank goodness I was able to see this on TV weekly in the 80s. No way these cartoons would ever see the light of day on TV today with the PC police and cancel culture.
The old ones are the best this particular cartoon had me in stitches it was absolutely brilliant unfortunately you don't see these kind of cartoons anymore absolute classics 👏 👌 😄
Partly because of the PC police and the awful cancel culture. I can't believe almost 60 70 odd years since they were released...they suddenly out of the blue went after PePe Le Pew of all things!! I never stalked no damned woman because I grew up watching Pepe Le Pew! And also because Tex Avery was a one of a kind genius.
@@FuShengAlex absolutely 💯 some cartoon were classes as racist too in their eyes like the deep south ones the black ones with big lips you will never see them ones again either!!
4:08 ok I know it’s a cartoon and has its own logic and that sort of thing but even then given the distance, the size of the fly, etc that’s an impressive shot
My grandfather was a pointman for an anti-sniper unit on New Guinea. His friends said he could shoot the wings off a gnat at a thousand yards! He could probably make that shot! 😆
Cut it out!!! Okay!!! Stupidity at it's best but one of my favorite scenes...funniest is when droopy hits the bad guy with the 2x4 with the nail in it and screams into the phone his friend answers the phone on the hill and gets an piercing scream through a phone lol
I liked when he was glued to the floor with the dynamite in his mouth and he sent his tounge 100s of yards out the sheriff's place to let it blow up 🤣🤣
0:30 Both outlaws: OOOWWWWW!!!!!! 0:39 Big outlaw: YOOOOOW!!! 0:44 Big outlaw: CUT IT OUT!!!! 0:51 little outlaw: OKAY!!!! 1:00 Little outlaw: OWWW!!!! 1:03 Big outlaw: YEEOWWW!!!! 1:08 Little outlaw: AAH! OWWW!!!! 1:13 Little outlaw: OW OWWW OWWWW!!!! 1:23 (Cat bites Big outlaw) Big outlaw: YEEOWW!!!!!! 1:32 Little outlaw’s voice in the jar: OUCH!! OHH!!! YIPE!!!! OHH!!!!! YIPE!!!!! OH!!!!!! OUCH!!!!!!! YIPE!!!! OH!!! EEE!!!YEOWCH!!!! 2:01 TNT: BOOM!!! 2:10 Big outlaw on the phone: OOOOOOWWWWWWWWW!!!!!!!!!!!!! 2:13 TNT: BOOM! BOOM!! BOOM!!! BOOM!!!!
I'll alway remember the day when I first saw this on telly in the 70s. Me and my younger brother were in stitches. One of those moments from childhood by that stays with you. If anyone comes across the full version let me know please. 😂
