Texas DPS Trooper pulling over aggressive driver pulling in front of truck.

Wrong place to do this in front of a trooper. I was traveling south on IH35 at 70 mph in the middle lane. Had to apply the brakes to let the driver squeeze in front of me. Notice the van, doing just over the speed limit. Even with the trooper watching other vehicles speeding and passing to the drivers right. The driver that was pulled over came in behind me and passed me to the right in front of the trooper. Videos proves law enforcement does pull over 4 wheelers!

Stay the F out of the left lane the guy in the white Van is the one who the troop should be stopping for impeding the flow of traffic and a lane violation… it is against the law to be in the left lane unless you are actively passing someone

Actually, he was technically still passing. He may have been intending to safely give space and get over in front of the truck(which nobody else did) till the impatient people forced their way around him. By the time they got around him, he was already caught up with the next group. There was more than 1 person in that video who should have got a ticket.

Ahhhh, the Fast Lane Owners Association rep must chime in as to “loitering” in the “fast lane.” No such lane exists and all lanes have the same speed limit. There is one fact in evidence. Those that share the concept of “I drive-get out of my way” cause crashes and even believe it’s thru job to enforce and even harass anyone DARING to violate their concept of driving by tailgating and being reckless.

You did the right thing and braked, the wide angle of the dash cam distorts how close he was. From your perspective I'm sure that car disappeared under your hood briefly, which would make anyone hit the brakes. Great video, ignore all the negative comments, those people want to see blood and explosions, this was too boring for them.

Rig drivers should post his lawyers number on the rear of the trailer to deter brake-checkers! Also, on the front grill so that guy sees it in his rear-view mirror! 😂

No, he was doing 73-75 mph. Over the speed limit passing but no it was the blue car that cut in front of me about the 1 minute mark. Look at Jack Linden comment and there is another video with the driver pulled over.

I don't get what went wrong there. If you meant that car that sped up to make a lane change. I applaud drivers like that. Its bettter than somebody getting in front too close. Slowing down in front of me or some crap.

You are exactly right. This is why a always leave plenty of space but the driver wasn't speeding up I was the one slowing down had to brake to let him in. This dashcam doesn't show how close it really was. I wish I had the gps attachment to show the speed. Anyway, that week they had a campaign to pull over drivers that take risks like this.

Please explain? The right lane is lucky to do 55 mph. The center lane the one I was in doing the speed limit of 70 mph. The passing lane is the far left lane on this highway. Everyone can't be in the right lane?

Oh ok, I get it. If it was was me, and it happens all the time. I wouldof stayed at the same speed, and let the 4 wheeler do it. Or I wouldof been nice about it and let him in like you. It depends. Drive long enough, a driver can tell by the way a 4 wheeler is driving. Whether they can drive or not. And we all develope a level of sociopathic driving characteristics that prevents us from getting scared too easily based off experience. I Don't get scared that easily, used too. But not anymore. @@jacklinden780 Many states do not have passing lane laws because all lanes are meant to be used. Even in ones that do, it is the leftmost lane that is a passing lane. The middle lane is not a passing lane. The driver's handbook for my state even recommends the middle lane for cruising because it is the smoothest lane to drive in. I'll believe the traffic engineers over you.

@@glennharrison7036 I guess nothing if the speed was unlimited. Left lane is supposed to be only used for passing here in Texas but you would be speeding if you go more than 70. Fastest does not win here. The right lane has too much traffic for everyone to return to the right lane. And all the vehicles coming on and off. It works that way on a two lane high but multiple lanes not working here. How is it supposed to work?

@@13keystone90 The point that I am making to you is that the offside lane is for passing. Whether you are doing 17, 70, 80 or 118 mph, you should be in the nearside lane wherever possible and practical. I make this point about speed because so many drivers appoint themselves ad self-appointed traffic police. If they believed they are driving to the speed limit, then it is their job to prevent anybody else going any faster. It is certainly not their job. Get back in the nearside lane as soon as it is safe and practical to do so. That applies whatever speed you are doing.

There is no such thing.... Hogging the middle lane? The middle lane is the safe and economical lane. Here is the problem with motorists. The speed limit is no longer the maximum, it is now the minimum. Drivers punish you for driving the speed limit by tailgating. They punish your choice to maintain a safe distance by passing you and merging over into your safe zone just to follow the muthatrucka you're following.

Having cars pass you on BOTH sides is extremely dangerous and the fact a car can pass you on the right means there was nothing there and you should have pulled into the right hand lane so the faster traffic could pass on the left. This guy would have been pulled over and ticketed in Germany because you only use the left two lanes to pass. You do not get to pick a lane and set your cruise control and sit back and relax, unless it is the right lane.

You're getting passed on the left AND right. Get out of the center lane and drive R except to pass or allow merging traffic. I bet you sit right there with trucks stacked up behind you knowing that that's their left lane. (Most places prohibit cmv in inside lanes of multi lane). You're part of the problem

I am doing the speed limit of 70, not loaded, all the vehicles to the on the right of me are slower. The vehicles to the left are over the speed limit. Please explain in more detail the problem or was it the slow van doing 72 or 73 mph? And where do some of you truckers make up laws, there is no such law? If trucks were behind me they would be all speeding and passing me on the right because they are scared to pass on the left like they should. Or you suggesting that all trucks should only use the right lane except to pass in all situations?

@Galaxy Phone I agree we are a pain and the some worse than others especially if they can't keep up with the speed limit. Many of us do stay in the right lane, except to pass! But in congested areas we tend to stay away from the friction of the entrance and exit ramps on multi-lane highways to let drivers enter.

Why not make sure that you are truly saved by Jesus Christ and practice this way. Remorsefully confess with your heart your sins to Jesus Christ who is God and tell Him that you right now are repenting of your sins and you want to be born again of the Spirit from above. Tell Jesus that you are remorsefully sorry for breaking His commandments and that you are begging for forgiveness from Him. Allow His blood from the cross to wash away your sins. After this is done with your heart successfully the Holy Spirit will come to live within you and He will rebuild you from the inside out. Look for signs that you are living righteously. Things like spreading the good news from Jesus, getting other people saved, a craving for the word of God, reading the Bible etc. These things are known as a calling and fruit bearing. If you're not bearing fruit then keep doing it. Sometimes it takes time to get saved. Read Matthew chapter 13 from the King James Bible. God bless!
