Ive seen these guys 3 times, they always put on such a good show. Full of energy. Im glad theyre going places and getting recognized for their hard work.
has anyone ever thought Adam doesn't want to leave this band? Maybe he loves his bandmates and the sound they produce and maybe he has the best time writing for them... I'm sure he knows what he's doing
they did release this video. like back before the summer but they only showed it at the champ. it was the premiere of it and they said they would never release it for liek a long time and now they did. i saw it at the champ (;
@oneeye589 Thank you for saying this. I always see and hear people saying TIJ rips off ABR's style. Yes they influence each other but in no way are they the same. If you listen to "One Reality" and "Leveler" there are a myriad of differences. Both awesome bands. :) Thanks!
@christianmetal5150 If you're referring to their "One Reality" album as being "typical metalcore", it's mainly because Adam had to basically improve the drums in the studio. He even admitted that on a kid's video that he thinks the drum parts on "One Reality" are "boring as hell."
Exactly i love both bands to death,, there different style..all i said was that you can tell the influence ABR has had on so many bands especially TIJ..but id never would say that they sound like a clone of them
I always liked their unique lead style, and now that they have found a way to make them more organized they really sound awesome!!! If you like Texas In July, check out Dreaming In Color My Mistake. It is new metal video that is quickly taking off!!
ABR and TIJ are both really good and have a lot of differences if you know about this type of music. ABR almost always has riffs going on, TIJ has a lot of good parts with octave chords. Their drums also have a mind of their own at times, which isn't a bad thing. The vocals are very different, too. They may be similar, but in no way are they the same.
@JakeTheDrummer18 i freaking knew it. I noticed that Adam's drumming on One Reality was slow and boring. I know Adam is a superb drummer so i was wondering why he would take a basic approach to his drumming on the album... and you just answered my question lol.
@itscalledfutbol16 Yeah dude ikr! It's still really solid for an improvisation though! He says the drums on the next album are gonna be crazy cause he's gonna have time to work on them before going into the studio! Im so pysched!
Why would it be disrespectful? I mean yes August Burns Red is one of the greatest bands ever in my book, and coming in at a very close second is Texas In July, I think it's damn good music if you ask me dude :) but we all have our own tastes I just enjoy the similar sounds of both bands, after all one could not exist without the other......
@TheRawJS Oops. Okay. You're right. X) I thought it said I, The Breather on it. I find Texas in July and I, The Breather both pretty similar bands based on they're message and style. They are both amazingly awesome though.
I love both bands to death! and anyone that denies the influence ABR has on the majority of metalcore bands now a days is a liar!!!! especially these guys...there are great differences betwen TIJ and ABR but still the influence is undeniable...amiright? :D
