I’m a ducks fan but i must say much respect to the Longhorns. No matter who they play they always make it a battle! Oh they play the number xx school in the nation, let’s remind them what Texas football is all about.
I’m a current student at Texas A&M. I know everyone thinks AGGIES hate the Horns and while that is very very true, the large majority of us are glad to see Texas getting back to form. It makes everything that much more competitive, and is good for the Lone Star State. We need to keep all our talent in this state. With both our schools recruiting at such an incredibly high level, nothing but good things for both our great Universities will come to pass. You certainly won’t get a hook em from me but I’m very proud of what BOTH our schools have accomplished this past season. God bless the State of Texas!! WHOOP!
BuT wE’rE 3-0 wOu lmao what bowl game did you guys lose in this year??? also if you hate texas so much why’re you watching a highlight reel of their season lol.
Man if Foreman would’ve stayed. And lil Jordan Humphrey. With a healthy Colin Johnson and Duvernay! Unbelievable run they could’ve had. But this year the injuries on both sides sucked!
Excellent season! Defeated OU and UGA on the way to a new year's six win and 10 win season and a top 10 finish in the polls. They just needed more mental toughness on Defense.
Texas easily could of been 12-2....that ok state and wvu games were so close. Just came down to a few critical last minute mistakes... will say it was a great Texas Season. Wins over some good teams We beat up on OU for 3 quarters until they came back in October and we almost had them again in the Championship but then to beat Georgia a SEC powerhouse behind bama....i will say the lost to Maryland and then the next game against Tulsa where we almost lost. Then it was another close game against Kansas. Its those type of team's we need to watch out for next year. But i think this coming year, we will be competing for another big 12 title with OU.....Collin Johnson coming back. De Duvernay will be back, and he was a great under rated 3rd option. Will move up to the 2nd receiver on depth chart this coming season. Then of course Ehlinger, if he can stay healthy. We will be very good on offense. Worried about defense a little lost alot to graduation but alot of talent in that secondary.
Low key great team, but nothing beats the Colt McCoy era for the longhorns. Still the greatest *college* quarterback in the history of the NCAA. Don't know why he didn't transfer his greatness over to the pros. Probably because he got drafted by Cleveland, lol. McCoy would've been phenomenal in a west coast offense.
@@ctsports9315 Not in completion percentage. McCoy set a record that probably won't ever be broken. Completing 82% of your passes is absolutely sick, in a good way, lol. I remember the era personally, whenever he threw the ball everyone automatically assumed it was going to be completed. Dude will go down as the most accurate passer in NCAA history no doubt. You might could argue Baker has better balance than McCoy. McCoy wasn't the guy who could stretch the field. He would either throw short or intermediate passes or he would scramble. He should've went to a west coast style team like Seattle or 49ners.
The Horns bring back quarterback Sam Ehlinger and receiver Collin Johnson. However, they do no return their leading rusher (Tre Watson), leading receiver (Lil’Jordan Humphrey), three honorable mention all-conference offensive linemen, their top three tacklers on the defensive line, their top two linebackers, and three of their top five defensive backs. No way can Texas compete with a loaded up stacked LSU team in Austin. The Tigers smell blood.
Got to admit, Texas looked pretty good last season, but the level of competition relative to the level of competition LSU played against last season was far lower. It's going to be fun watching LSU destroy Texas on their home turf and in front of their home town crowd coming this September 7th. Whoever wins that game will be in the college football playoffs. As of now, Las Vegas has LSU at -9.
@@megahoodfiggaThe LSU team of 2018 would have easily destroyed the 2018 Texas team and if that same 2018 LSU team played the Texas 2019 team, it would also easily win. Nonetheless, the 2019 LSU team is significantly better than the 2018 LSU team on both sides of the football and it will literally obliterate the 2019 Texas team on the home town turf in front of the home town folks of Austin, Texas on September 7th. Which, by the way, is why the oddsmakers have the line currently at -9 in favor of LSU for that game today. Good luck though, as all of the dumb luck in the world will not be enough for Texas to beat LSU.
@@megahoodfiggaPut down the crack pipe. According to SB Nation, LSU played by far the hardest schedule of 2018. Which is why preseason, most sports media were predicting LSU to have either a 6 & 6 or 7 & 5 at best season in 2018. Of course, those of us who follow the goings on in Baton Rouge knew better than that. In any event, LSU defied the sports media and finished the season 10 & 3 and ranked number 6 in the final AP poll with victories over 4 top-ten teams and a host of other top-25 ranked teams. Furthermore, the Florida loss went down to the wire and the only reason why LSU barely lost that game was due to injuries. Meanwhile, watch the Texas A&M game in totality and it's very obvious that LSU was ripped off big time by the referees. Not mention that a lot of A&M fans will readily admit it too. As that nationally televised game thoroughly embarrassed the front office of the SEC. Moreover, the Texas win over Georgia that swelled the Texas fans heads was a fluke victory over a very demoralized, very depleted, and very unmotivated Georgia team that had been decimated by injuries and by key players who declared for the draft and refused to play in that bowl game and therefore, did not play. Not to mention, that after Georgia loss the SEC Championship game to a very injury riddled Alabama team, they had nothing left to play for and furthermore, it's very hard for SEC teams to get motivated to play weak ass Big 12 schools. In addition, had Texas played that full-strength Georgia team that LSU beat far worse than Texas when it was still ranked number 2 in the country and still undefeated, that Georgia team would have eviscerated Texas. So considering the stupidity of your dumb ass post, then it is quite easy to see why you are predicting a Texas victory. Go ahead bet your house and everything you own on a Texas victory. Indeed, it's a very good bet.
U dont play defence week 2 defence will eat steak tiger bait. U lost 13 players 1 got drafted 13 starters .thats sad lsu put 36 on georgia .in important game lsu beat 4 top ten teams. U did not even play 4 top ten teams. Georgia. So what we smoked them. We lost our pass rusher 1st game he will be back and he will eat
