You are capping hard if you say one band dominated the other. Both bands were on their "A" game. The Ocean's trumpets were slapping Bama State's BUT Bama State's bones give them another type of wall that the Ocean lacks. Both btone and tuba sections have SERIOUS power!

I personally refuse to read the comment section until the end, after I've reached a conclusion, because i don't want anything swaying my opinion or decision. My Initial reaction honestly was both bands were throwing blow for blow. Although i don't like giving a draw or tie, but on the other hand, the positive side of it is. That usually means both bands were equally good, and did their thing by entertaining their audience. So, I'll have to give this a tie. The winner are the viewers. Congrats to both bands, their staff and teams. Also. I don't usually pay too much attention to the dancers but i must say. Both dance teams demanded and commanded your attention and were the cherry on top for this battle. So well done to the ladies of both dance teams. Oh. and of course i would also like to give a special thanks to my bro, Killa Kev. for the amazing and unique footage.
They both was going toe to toe ! But towards the end ocean still was sending heat! I think ocean came slightly more prepared. But nevertheless asu is sounding great ! Anticipating to see them tap into that spring 16 aggression next year!!
No offense to anyone who reads my comment. l am an Alabama State Univ. Alumni c/o 2001. And The Stingettes did not have to get trampled on by the motions the way they did in this battle. The Stingettes should have prepared for this battle just as hard as they prepared going up against Alcorn State's Golden Girls, Southern Univ.'s Dancing Dolls and Alabama A&M's Dancin Divas during the 2023 football season. According to what l heard the Stingette captian just became of member of Delta Sigma Theta in the spring of 2023. So Jan of 2024 was her first DST Founders Day as a member of the sorority. And from what l was told, this BOTB was around the same time as DST Founders Day. From what l heard, the Stingette captian put most of her energy towards DST Founders Day and less energy and time towards preparing to battle against the Motions. Now if what l heard is true, do l understand why she put preparing for DST Founders Day over preparing to battle against Texas Southern Motions, Yes... Do l agree with her decision to do so, absolutely not... lt did not have to turn out like this for the Stingettes at all had they prepared just as hard as they had done going up against the other band dance teams during the 2023 football season. l am just saying.

I just became a big stingettes fan but let this be a reminder that you always stay ready... whoever is there coach shouldve known after the last showdown and great season that any band was gonna practice hard to demolish them, and im sure thats what happend here. Stingettes you had so many chances i still love yall though...
Wowwww ASU MMH is not my choice of bands, but they sounded f’ing amazing! Both bands sounded really good and they put a spanking to each other! Lol. As far as the dancers, they were awesome. They both slapped each other around a few times. However, I’m giving Motion the win on this one. They ate the Stingettes up lol
I feel like ocean do remixes of other dance squads which i think they lose identity. Its ok to diss but they lack originality for me. However stingettes always stick to their core and style maintaining poise and decorum. To me they are absolutely classy. MMH Band had a good sound. In general both did amazing but ofcourse MMH and stingettes won this battle in my opinion.
l had noticed that the Ocean had done some of the Stingettes dance combinations. But l was under the impression the ocean did some of the stingette's traditional dance combinations as a way of mocking the stingettes.
I wouldn't even say this with my full chest cause it's such an insult, but instead of saying they sounded like a *certain type of band, I'll just say I didn't hear a collegiate sound. If I didn't know the Stingettes, I'd really think the same. Had they been anymore off, oh yeah. For sure! BUT Where did y'all stuff the Honeybees? I didn't like ASU's song selections which means Stingette counts were easily Bland or Forgettable. Ocean played with Stamina all the way to the end. Motion brought creativity and was ready to war. Stingettes were just ready for Stand Battles and nothing else. TXSU O & + TXSU M = W I N
