If the guy who owns it likes it it's all that matters this is just my opinion other's opinions my differ it needs mufflers to me it's way to loud it may cruise and drive decent with this camshaft and the stock 3.27 gearing with this camshaft it is not going to pull hard off a light or from a dead stop for you to make this camshaft to work with the 3.27 gears it's going to need at least a 4200rpm stall converter otherwise this camshaft is not going to work so well with the stock stall converter if your wanting it to pull real hard from a dead stop and have good throttle response l have a 2011 Camaro SS that has a new GM performance LS3 495 horsepower crate engine with other upgrades that is more mild than this camshaft runs on E85 has a built 6L80e automatic transmission with a Circle D 4200rpm stall converter and the stock 3.27 gears it has very wicked throttle response it also has stainless 1 7/8 long tube headers and a stainless 3 inch X pipe into 3 inch Flow FX mufflers it has a very clear clean crisp solid rich and powerful exhaust note that isn't annoying no crackling or popping that exits in the stock location it has a ton of other upgrades it ran 7.22 at 96mph in the eighth mile if all he's after is the sound he will be happy with it but from idle to 4000rpm it not going to pull as good or as hard with that tight converter as the stock camshaft did if he really wants to get the intended performance with this camshaft with the stock 3.27 gears that l like and recommend a Circle D 4200rpm stall converter and a good custom computer tune for the engine and transmission and the shift points by a good tuner with 26 degrees advanced timing will definitely make a world of difference in performance and throttle response and make the driving experience so much better and put some decent mufflers on it he's gaining nothing running no mufflers but making a bunch of unnecessary annoying noise and I'm assuming it already has 1 7/8 long tube headers with the cats deleted and a 3 inch X pipe if not it would work very good with this camshaft upgrade had my 5th Gen Camaro SS almost a year now it's not my daily transportation it's a nice weather weekend car hope he has good luck with the new setup this camshaft should pull strong to 6800-7000rpm
