What a year, what a season. Even with the loss we still did so good this year. Nobody has us making the tourney but we did. And we actually won 2 games for the first time in 6 years. I’ll never forgot this team, even with the difficult defeat.
@Lao Warrior it is a season to be proud of. I’m from Boston and BC Eagles aren’t doing well but I’ve always hated duke and been a fan of UNC and I have a friend on Providence ( AJ reeves) who’s from my neighborhood. That first four game Notre Dame played that went to double overtime was one of the greatest games ever. I hate Duke but they will take care of Texas Tech.
Trying so hard to impress the NBA scouts, now he may get drafted in late second round if he declares this year. Better stay one more year in college coz he still has a lot to learn
Texas Tech with a master class on how to close out a game - this was like a boxing match and the Red Raiders straight up scored a KO in the final minute. Great game.
@@mikerodgers7620 I didn't say they are that great - they play great D but they can't score and I don't think they are beating Duke by any stretch. But I appreciate a good closeout by a team and this was one.
Nah you’re missing the point, and folks in Lubbock have a right to be the first to criticize the Big 12, however he is just trying to make the point that Big 12 teams are all the better because they play in the toughest conference.
As a Notre Dame fan, first off this team far over exceeded and should be very proud of their season. However, they had the momentum and the lead with under two minutes left and even though Brey may have called that pick and roll for Wesley, I doubt he called three iso plays for him in a row in which he turned the ball over on all of them. Seemed to me like he was trying to get his draft stock up and being selfish. I was furious.
Gonzaga has been looking extremely vulnerable after a soft WCC. If Gonzaga survives the guard play of Arkansas, they'll get destroyed inside by Texas tech's #2 defense in the country.
@@michaeljaypaca4987 agreed congrats to tech, still an amazing year for the Irish considering we haven’t been in the tournament for four years. Squad potentially will be scary next year if Wesley comes back. We’ll have JJ starling, Dane Goodwin, Nate, Hubb, Ryan, Wertz, and add or minus transfers. I’m very confident that Notre Dame can, and will be a tournament team. I think, given that Wesley will improve, be a sleeper 3-2 seed next year.
Ttechs Could be T Rex. Awesome rotational team defense they surround round ball and on offense interior passing . Do they have enough shooters? Maybe just enough as Obanor owns the 🎨 paint.
@@mikerodgers7620 “no” do you think refs never make bad calls that alter a game?? Just because a team loses doesn’t mean refs are an “excuse”. They can be terrible in team wins too. I don’t have a view on the refs in this particular game but they have been an issue in games like UNC-baylor where both sides got hit with nasty calls.
Yeah I'm sorry, but wesley sold. He has to stay one more and improve to get back in that lottery discussion. I think he could be like a jaden ivey type of growth.
Yeah, like the UNC win in Cameron, and K’s last home game was a rig? Dang refs, how dare they allow UNC to win in Cameron. I’m no where near a PUKE fan either. Move on…
@@Sh13r bro Texas tech loses in the next round. But if it helps you sleep at night they made the sweet sixteen. Enjoy that illegitimate sweet sixteen because we all know you didn't earned it. It was handed to you on a silver platter by the refs. And if you want proof. The duke game. They played like they shouldn't be there. Your a loser
