"Too fast". You're right. The point of a Goldwing is to chill and enjoy the sights and ride. Carving corners is fun enough and a Wing can hold is own but it forces your focus to narrow down to the pavement right in front of you. Missing all that beautiful Texas hill country.
I’ve gotta say the sport mode is a beast, love the acceleration . I don’t believe that you can manually shift any bike as fast as the Gold Wing can go thru the gears! 😎
I only have the use of one arm and this bike is so nimble to throw around, handles great. The one thingI find as a big difference from a Harley is the weight distribution. All the weight on a Honda is at the bottom, as where a Harley is at the top which makes it easier to hold up 10:24 at stops and to get it off the kick stand. People owe it to themselves to go out and ride one. I think Harley makes a great looking bike, but does not compare to the ride, power, handling of a Gold Wing, just saying ! 😊
I ride one hand into curves with ease 😄 The GW is so well balanced. I haven't ridden a HD, so I can't compare the two. I rode my 110cc, 150cc moped since I was 10 back in Vietnam. Then I came here to the US and bought the 650 Burgman. The GW is my first reall motorcycle 😄 I love every minute riding it
I'll be trying out the Sisters in a few months. I don't think I'll be going that fast though. That was a bit speedy for me. I want to take time and enjoy the scenery out there. Looking forward to trying out the Bent Rim as well.
@@AceGoodheart my guys had ridden the Sisters many time and that's why they rode hard. It was my first time there and I was in the middle of the pack. I just have to ride fast 😄 Peers pressure.
there goes my two dream bikes, i currently own a bmw 750gs and been wanting to upgrade for the 1250 adv.. but the thing is that now im really falling in love with goldwing.. what would you recommend me ?
If you want the most comfortable ride possible, go with the Goldwing. With the DCT model, you can get more performance with the "Sport" mode if you need/want. If you want performance over comfort, then the BMW 1600 would be the next best choice. Beware of limitations of service depts for the BMW, if you go that route.
