Good to see you! Moving is exhausting , We hired a big moving company and they packed everything and they also unpacked our furniture in the rental we are in while our home is being built. It is all so much stress. It is very nice of you to help your mom and dad with the move. I hope you find a home you love, Houston has beautiful homes for much less than most every where else. I hope you are able to sell your home fast so you can join your husband. They have tons of model homes for you to look at there. Lauren

Really enjoyed this update! Even though moving can be stressful (right up there with public speaking and death/marriage in terms of life impact) it can be a great time to clean up and re-evaluate your life, possessions, etc. Good for you for getting started on your house early and good luck with the sale!

Hope your move goes as smooth as possible. We moved and downsized last year twice! I feel your pain. :) look forward to seeing where you end up in Houston. I moved from Garden Oaks to Jersey Village and though we stayed in the same city (Houston) it has still taken me this whole year to adjust . Good luck on your new adventure.

RealHousewifeRachel I drove through Lakewood Forest just for old times sake and was flooded with memories of your mom and all of you. Once I move back and get settled, I will definitely meet up with your dad and his new wife...and OF COURSE I want to see you and Mike and your darling boys. Can't wait!!!
TeriGigi, would love a meet up. My son and Daughter in law live in Cypress now but may put there house on the market soon to move closer in to town. We are in The Parks at Jersey VILLAGE a small gated community of patio homes. Downsized took some adjusting but I like not being tied down to a house.
