This is actually better than the thumb brace I purchased recently. Gives me support on the inside of the joint, which the brace does not.

Fortunately if you buy Ktape there are written instructions with pics for several applications. They were easier for me to reference.

This is actually pretty amazing. I have basal thumb joint arthritis and doing this KT wrap gives me more pain relief and mobility that Tylenol!

I do Krav Maga and during a self defense move during my test yesterday my thumb was pulled incorrectly and my thumb has been in horrible pain since! After I put the tape on the thumb was immediately relieved!! This video was better than official KT Tape Video!!!

Thanks Regan! Glad you found it to be helpful! Hope your thumb gets better. Tape can be a nice way to stabilize in the short term as our body heals. If it doesn’t improve, you might consider seeing a hand therapist for a more supportive brace 👍👍

This is a much less bulky taping strategy. I feel like the cmc joint is held "open", very little bone contact. Thank you.

How do I stop the existing pain with this tape? I’ve over used my thump due to phone like you said and d pain is too much at the base and my thump bones now shift
