it has been almost two years and "what a walk downstairs to stab situation" is still easily the funniest thing i've ever heard

I see a lot of people asking in the comments "How can Star be this good?" and the like. I'm going to use this to give you a intro to basic aiming theory. Aiming, in any videogame, comes down to a combination of three factors. First, there's prediction. To be able to hit shots, you need to be able to know where the enemy is going to be a short time in the future. This is probably the hardest bit to get right, since it's a matter of gamesense; you have to play the game, know where people will go, what dodging patterns people use, and the like. The second is mouse movement. Once you've predicted where you think the target (in this video, a person's head) is going to go, you've got to move your mouse such that the crosshair is in the path of it. You can do this slowly at first, and as you'll get better, you'll be able to flick your mouse to where you think they're going to be. This takes practice; it won't come in an hour. The third is sort of prediction, but it's timing. You need to know when to hit M1 so that the shot will hit. With a hitscan weapon in this video, it's basically as soon as (or actually very slightly before) you see the head under your crosshair, or when you predict it will be. This video is actually really good because it illustrates these principles really well. When Star headshots the jumping soldier, he predicts where the soldier is going to be in mid-air (1), moves his mouse there (2) and times his mouse click so that he hits the headshot (3). These three principles are the same for every shot, with every weapon. Hitting projectile weapons well, like rockets or pills, is exactly the same- you predict where they're going to be, move your mouse to where you think that is, and then press M1 such that the projectile will hit when they're there. Doesn't matter if it's just a shot on the ground, or an amazing flick airshot; the principles are the same. I hope this helps some of you who are struggling with aiming. :)

The caution zone is that intense moment when players get so paranoid that all they can think about is "HOLY SHIT WHERE ARE THE AMBASSADOR SPYS"

When I used the Classic sniper, it's VERY similar to the Ambassodor. Which explains why crafting it requires a Huntsman and Bazaar Bargain, I think

At first I thought that was Jerma.. Then I saw he was actually good at things like headshots. (No offence Jerma, you're funny)

There's a frame, around 1:28, where a sniper bowman shot a pyro SO HARD, he teleported for a single frame into Star's view. I actually had to pause the video and move frame-by-frame to figure out what had happened. Kudos to that guy tho.
