These three commercials aired during the first week of October 2018 on ABC to promote the newly revamped TGIF. In these spots the old school TGIF alumni teach the new class some pointers.
I still remember when Bronson felt so teary when he was asked do the dance of joy for the last time at the end of the series finale broadcast of perfect strangers. He thought it would be the last time he'd ever do it and I know it was so symbolic to him. Made me feel so emotional seeing it one more time at their age. They have to do another perfect strangers show. So many people loved them. Bring back the original cast Jennifer, marrianne and their kids Tucker and Rox-Pierre.
@@lvelez1999 Suddenly I'm reminiscent of when Balki said to unravel sandbags on this side of the basket then cousin Larry said this side of the basket on the giant balloon ride to endure Jennifer's labor.
OMG, they did the Dance of Joy! I AM SO FREAKING HAPPY! You shoulda seen me the other day at the grocery store when an ad for the new TGIF started on the store radio; I stopped dead in my tracks the moment the TGIF jingle started and told my Mom, "STOP! LISTEN!"
Boochibabe, if you are still out there, thank you so much for archiving so many otherwise-lost clips from Perfect Strangers. It's 2024 and I still watch Perfect Strangers all the time. I've been watching your videos since you first started posted them almost 20 years ago. I just wanted you to know, it's very appreciated.
I have never seen these before....☹️...Wow..the dance of joy...😁.. I am so happy that Bronson can still catch Mark at the end,🤗 I do remember when they did that for the final time during the final curtain call Bronson was sobbing 😭 he said he got to the word happy and he just lost it...💔😭
Somebody or a group of us 80s & 90s TGIF fans need to get together and petition ABC to do a "Retro TGIF Month" where some of our favorite classics we grew up with are rebroadcast to bring them to the new generation! Perfect Strangers, Full House, Family Matters, Boy Meets World, Dinosaurs, Step By Step, Doogie Howser M.D., Growing Pains etc. These classics are timeless and they need to be brought to the attention of the new generation! - WHO'S WITH ME????
They didn't try for very long...i think they gave up on the idea of trying to recreate TGIF after like a couple of weeks??? Its too bad cause I loved the idea!
Meaning they gave up on the idea of branding it as TGIF after a couple of weeks--the shows stayed on Friday nights at least thru the end of that season.
I still prefer the 90s TGIF, but it was good to see a few 90s TGIF stars there. Just needed Bob Saget or another Full House cast member and somebody from Step By Step.
