Where is the spring and the harvest and the tall corn growing? They have passed like rain on the mountain, like a wind in the meadow; The days have gone down in the West behind the hills into shadow. Rest in peace, Mr. Bernard Hill. Your performance has stayed with me for many years and I have watched this video a many times. Coincidentally on your death day as well.

This still doesn’t feel real. The King Is Dead. For real this time. I never imagined it would actually happen. There are always those people you’d imagine as being immortal. Like your parents or your family’s childhood dog. This man, Bernard Hill was that man. I guess he was immortalized, in a way. Fan will forever remember him as the character he played. Me specifically, I’ll always remember him as Théoden, King of Rohan. After all, it’s why I’m here to begin with.
