I might be biased cuz ima Carolina Panthers fan and he came by school where he spoke and gave out a bunch of bags and water bottles to us. We are educated, have great careers, will talk each other off a ledge and/or stop from doing something stupid and last but not least will make sure to turn up when we need to! Hello Cam, good advice, agree, we need a few good men in our lives so to speak or buffers. First, someone who will love you when you can't love yourself and will tell you the truth and no and will hold you accountable, this will buffer you from too many "yes men." Second, someone who believes in you when you can't or have lost belief in yourself, they will help will you to your destiny, encourage and inspire you, yes, the "hype man", this will buffer you from " Naysayers." Thirdly, you need someone who will fight for you when you don't have the strength to fight for yourself, you feel defeated and depleted and this person. " the dawg" will fuel you and pour into you and will always have your back, this will buffer you from "haters." Keep dropping gems, I love it, God bless!!

And I would even go as far to add another one too the list. And that's you never really know someone until you see how they react to something that YOU'RE GENUINELY UPSET about. Are they responsive , receptive to your feelings , and compassionate. Or will they take those moments and use them against you? That was just a piece that was on my mental. That’s real talk. I also believe each of those friends no matter which one they fall into should feed off of each other. So your group organically will become stronger. Example the hype man senses that the professional friend been on edge stressing about whatever. So the hype man suggests the group needs a weekend to get out and destress. In the same breath the hype man might be partying too much so the other friends let him know to chill get back to the bag find some balance. Everybody learns from each other!

But, for a decade straight my best friend Q effortlessly flows back in forth through those roles. We've lived together, fought each other and we're still right here side by side. We're not only best friends, he's my brother. He's all three friends in 1. We get ratchet, he inspires me to get the bag and has helped me get there.
