Majkl shows us in this video how to prepare chicken Satay, a delicious speciality from Indonesia, Thailand and neighbouring countries.
The recipe is very simple, and everybody loves Satay. What is really important is the peanut sauce that is used as a dip.
Ingredients for 4 portions:
3 chicken breasts
Ingredients for the marinade:
1 tablespoon curry powder
1 tablespoon red curry paste (can be easily bought in stores)
1 tablespoon sugar
1 teaspoon of salt
4 tablespoon of coconut milk
Ingredients for the peanut sauce:
150ml of coconut milk
150g of peanut butter (check my video how to make in 3 minutes peanut butter at home)
2 tablespoons of red curry paste
3 tablespoons of crushed peanuts
2 tablespoons of vinegar (or you can also use tamarind for sourness)
2 tablespoons of dark soya sauce
3 tablespoons of sugar
1 teaspoon of salt
