The market was always here, the train came later. people did not want to move out of their family houses. Instead of evicting the people, there are guardposts that make sure the train can safely pass, so the people can keep their souls clear of grief. (i totally made that up :)
Let me get this straight. These people are selling food in open containers right next to a railroad line that has trains burning diesel fuel. These trains appear to pass over or very close to open containers of food. Diesel trains produce poisonous smoke exhaust. Trains in general spew out brake dust and other hazardous materials.
When going to your job and notice you forgot your lunch at home and ask the driver "go back, around the block, my wife will hand the package on the window"
There are loudspeakers along the marked, warning the peole that the train is coming, so they ave time to put up the umbrellas and clear the tracks for food. I visited that marked two years ago, with my (thai) wife, ad it was a funny experience to watch it.
The platforms are not raised high, only the skytrain and subway platforms are raised high here in thailand, so the train has large doors and most of the trains have auto stairs when the doors open.
Please don’t anyhow comment unless you been there. No toilet on board the train only at each station because this a short distance train for the olden days transport.
You are wrong , those food are clean and pack nicely furthermore this train is running on natural gas and when train pass bye there aren’t any dust as it goes at a very slow speed . I think you never been there before to experience it so please don’t any how give comments .
I WANT TO SEE THE FOOD SELLER WHO HAD DIARRHEA, NEEDED TO GO TO THE TOILET, AND FORGOT TO PUT HIS UMBRELLA DOWN WHILE HE WAS GONE FROM HIS FOOD STALL, LOL.

@@drServitis I don't know, I'm not into politics, it's just there are so many people not knowing what really happened and that's why there are so many theories. I don't want to start a fire, so I will stop here. All I will say is that man in general is not so innocent as it seems. Personally I don't believe this virus appeared on it's own.
Столько клиентов проезжает мимо, ейбогу)) Я тут подумал, поезд, он же едет медленно, так. И стёкол там вроде нет. А пассажиры сами вылазиют. Ну построй ты небольшую платформу возле своего лотка, и торгуй на здоровье, пока конкуренты тупят. Что время зря тратить? И торговля идёт и клиентам не надо на рынок заходить. Сразу по дороге можно купить картошечку, лучок, не вставая с мест для сидячих. Ведь нужно быть ближе к клиенту.
An entire very huge vegetable wholesale market in Chennai, India had been shifted, this entire Thai market is nothing in comparison. Can't govt., make an alternate area. Sure it can.
Been on this train twice great and cheap, also been on the train at the Cambodian border to Bangkok only cost 60 baht for the 5 hour journey much better than the more expensive bus
It's just for tourist attraction. I went there June 2019 & the train just waited at the "station" nearby until the tourists were "gathered" at the market.
