Hi serg how are you I love to watching your channel all the time I'm from Thailand 🇹🇭 but now I'm live in Ireland 🇮🇪 and I'm going to holiday to Thailand on 22 of April I would like to meet you and bring you go to my home town call SURIN city I'm very happy to hear you love Thailand 😊😊😊😊
The hospitals here are so great, nongovernment. I had a gallbladder attack in America and I was writhing in pain and after 3 hours they gave me one ibuprofen and charged me $600. In Khon Kaen, I had a gallbladder attack, went to Bangkok Hospital and a beautiful woman told me how sorry she was I was in pain, pet my head, gave me morphine and I was both in love and out of pain in 2 minutes. That was actually the day I decided I'd rather live in Thailand than die in America.
I'm Thai, born and raised in Bangkok. I couldn't agree more with the roads and sidewalks. It's like they are designed to help us practice mindfulness. 😂😂😂 By the way, stay safe and cool. Best of luck surviving the summer heat.
I absolutely agree with you about buying the Condo or House. I am Thai single man. You will feel worried about your belongings. Do not buy any car or motorcycle. The BTS and MRT will extend more distance in five years. This year the new yellow and pink line will launch the service.
@@knowledge4741 You cam rent everywhere you go. The two RU-vidr that I know have the accidents at the same times last week. It’s very difficult time when you have the accident in Thailand.
I am in the exact same boat you were in. I am over 50 and lived mostly in california and plan on retiring in Thailand in 4-5 years! I too am sick of the politics and division in the states. I am just like you I am trying to change my mindset and not to take life too seriously and the culture there of smiles will definitely help!
That’s awesome! Hope it works out just like you planned. I’m actually back in the US for a visit for a couple of weeks right now, and I have to be really honest with you that I really missed it. Mostly familiarity and the friends.
Great vlog Serge! I am Thai-American, tri-lingual and am inspired by your message to work more on my RU-vid channel. Congratulations on 25K subscribers
Just found your channel today Serg, thanks for the info. I will be moving to Thailand from the U.S. this year hopefully and look forward to it greatly. My goal is to live in a positive culture and try to give back.
I'm planning to semi retire in 2024 and move to Thailand before my 46th birthday - I've been to Thailand 8 times in the last 5 years and the country and people is what makes it so great. Can't wait to get a few things in place before the big move. Agree with you about being more calm when in Thailand due to the culture, l now longer care about possessions and just live a minimal life.
Sounds like you’ve got it figured out! It’s not perfect, but I’m definitely happy living here. I wish you the very best of luck with your move. Nice username by the way. Lol.
I just discovered your channel and I love your videos. I am so glad you started doing video and now I can see them.🎉 Thank you and best of luck in your mindfulness practice 💐
Love your videos Serg! I'm finally going to visit Bangkok and Chiang Mai in June and I just can't wait! Looking to move full time in the next few years. I hope to get to bump into you on the streets of Bangkok when I get there. Be safe!
I think that’s a great plan on your part to move up here. I hope it goes as you wish. If you ever happen to see me walking around, please do stop and say hello.
Oh ! This one was simply fantastic. I felt all your answers were informative and backed up with sound logic and conservative reasoning. Thanks so much for this and I wish you well Serg.
Congratulations Serg for 25k subscribers. I wanted to say thank you for making videos I love watching them and get so excited when I see you have uploaded a video. I hope one day I can go to Thailand.
I’m a new follower and I really liked this video. Thanks for answering all those questions with insightful answers, as they were all the original questions that I had! You should visit an elephant sanctuary next!
Glad you found this video helpful. I’m very leery of the majority of the elephant sanctuary’s here. As far as I know, there’s only one or two that are really doing the right thing. I think I’m going to stay away from that kind of content.
You're such a lovely realistic person, Serg. I am glad to know you like Thailand with true feelings - without chasing after or running away from something.
The fact that you can see I come across that way makes me very happy. I try to be very genuine. Not everybody will like me, and I’m perfectly fine with that.
All your answers are very good, reasonable and helpful. You've been through a lot. Your life is very interesting to learn. It's simple and always has the right idea for life.
Hearty congratulations Serg for 25k subscribers. Absolutely crisp and superb video. Your answers to all the questions were perfect and most convincing. Man I envy you😂
Same here Serg. It feels nice and refreshing to watch your videos after a hectic day. And I have developed some special connection with you over these 12 months or so. I still remember the very first video I came across while I was planning my trip in June 22 and since then there is no single video of yours that I haven't watched till you say take care and bye.
New sub and have been binge watching your channel. My experience is never buy anything but transportation in a foreign country and never buy anything you can’t leave behind. When you get a chance go and visit Phuket and Chiang Mai. You may find yourself relocating. Keep up the great videos. Ex-LEO.
Been to Thailand several times and plan on retiring there once the time comes. Your videos are very informative for the people that’s never been or had questions about Thailand, and I very much agreed with you on the amazing generosity of the Thai people as well as how safe it is there compared to the US. A Thai friend of mine once told me when you’re living in Thailand you are considered Thai, there is no white, black, Asian, Latinos, etc., you are just Thai 😄
Hi Serg! New subscriber here, I've been doing research on Thailand as my partner and I have been planning going there soon! Your channel is a treasure trove of information! We could listen to you talk forever!
Welcome aboard! So happy that you found my videos, entertaining and useful. If you’re looking for personalize in depth information, I offer when our video consultations. You can read in the description how to contact me directly.
I am very glad to run into your vdo clips. They are very different from several other you-tubers' clips. I agree with your views on several topics and have learned numerous exciting places ; the bottom line is quality. Thank you very much for what you have done ! Please keep up with your constructive works.
Your Q&A just got hijacked at 4:18 by a photo bomber 😂🤣 On a more serious note, I completely agree the best thing about Thailand really is the people. Great Video
I like the way you look at all the things around you in a positive way. Wish you all the best wherever you go. Please be careful, there are some scammers around.
Oh yes, Khao Soi is so good! I think it's mostly a northern dish but they have a few places that sell it here and it's so great. Larb Moo is another of my favorites too. I think renting a motorbike for a month and trying it out is so smart. Dude, it's 8 hours from Bangkok to Chiang Mai? I thought that was wrong because I am way further north (you are 5-hours south of me) but you know what.... it's faster for you to go to Chiang Mai than us because of the road. That is wild! I had no idea. Good call never buying here. I have had crappy neighbors that play the stereo until 4am, construction factories pop up, currently a college that has weekday concerts until 3am. Being able to move has saved my sanity.
It’s actually five hours or maybe six hours. Not eight. My mistake. But even when my friend left me his motorbike for a month I didn’t use it much in the city. I mainly use it for motorbike trips, but I’m going to go and rent a bike again for the month just to see how much use I get out of it
@@LifewithSerg That is amazing. You could beat me to Chiang mai if we both left at the same time by several hours. Crazy if you look on the map and see how much closer it looks like I am :)
Glad you enjoy Thailand! I am going in August myself! Do your thing! Enjoy your life and my motto what meant to be, will be. Expect the unexpected in a good way. You keep learning as you keep living wherever you are! DARA
@Life with Serg I am back to watching RU-vid again, my life been busy during covid and now that ended. I finally have time and looking forward to trip to Thailand. Only 4 months!
Congratulations on 25.5k subscribers always enjoy your vids I’m moving to Thailand in about a weeks time.. can’t wait .. hopefully make it work so not have to leave ..
I've lived in Chiang Mai for nearly 6 years. For me the worst thing about Thailand (anywhere) is driving. Motorbike or car, is absolutely awful. If living in Chiang Mai the smokey season is terrible. Other than that it's a dream.
Wow Serg- you packed all sorts of meaningful info into this vlog!!!🎉 I sure enjoy your channel and am looking forward to adding one more Californian to Bangkok in August. ❤
This Q & A videos can be anything from sleepy to whow! This one of really Best Q & A videos about Thailand. Thailand dummies 2.0 by Serg! Thanks Sir! From Peter Eriksson Sweden Europe 😂
Yeah, that one’s done really well. Really surprised. But I need to make one with the more local market to give people a better idea of cheaper options.
Great advice Serg! True, the sidewalks could use some fixing up and the traffic can be tough in Bangkok at times... but nowhere near as crazy as Hanoi or HCMC!
Greta Stuff! I subscribed a month ago and been planning to head that way for a year, be there in August, Thank you and you are important to this community. oh the grocery vid was informative.
Word for word about dating and I'm female. Self employed all my life I don't find people who don't have to ( go to) work so if I stay with them I'm anchored. Took the words out of my mouth.
Congratulations 25k subs. I live in Bangkok too. I am getting many ideas to spend my holidays in Bangkok and Thailand from your videos. Great videos and suggestions. Keep it up. Waiting for next video. See you. I am Harsha Madhuranga Executive chef Ministry of crab Bangkok restaurant.
Hello Harsha! Thank you for your support! I’ve actually sat at the wine connection across from your restaurant and I’ve been telling myself that I need to go over there and try your food soon. It looks very good.
Very true, you have freedom. Rent in Thailand is very cheap, you can choose cheaper place near the mass transit outside Bangkok, even less than 300 USD/month with swimming pool, gym, co-working space.
