I've a sample of Oud Wood, and it is a good fragrance (compliment getter), but lacks performance. Given the price, and the fact that's probably reformulated, I will not purchase it. Thameen looks like something that should be sampled in near future. When comparing these kind of fragrances, what do you think of Kemi Hayat? Very interesting review. Best!

@@TroyD247Mall I have put in on a shortlist instantly. Hayat I haven't sampled yet. What I have concluded from reviews is that Hayat shares some similarities with Oud Wood, but that its more complex, refined and challenging fragrance. I don't now if this does justice to Hayat 😊 p. s. I have sampled another heavyweight from Kemi (called Kemi), and it is something to be sprayed with caution. Very animalic oud and gourmand accord mixed together. But the quality is outstanding, as well as the price 😎

You've never smelt Vintage TFOW. I have both and they are very similar, but TCO is more like the younger brother of TFOW Vintage. I would also say TFOW Vintage is a bit more smooth. I feel that Thameen turns a little more powdery wood unlike TF which is rich and elegant. You do have to get a girl close to smell TFOW vintage, but once they are close they get closer. I do love carved oud though, it just gets better with time. TFOW Vintage opening is unmatched. I'd be willing to make a small trade so you can check out the vintage juice lmk.

I know this was a long time ago butttttt I wanted to buy oud wood I absolutely loooveeee the scent however, 30-45 minutes scent is gone. Does this smell very similar to TFOW just that it last longer? Thank you for your time & your time to answer me.

To me its really really similar. I tried it and could smell it on my skin for 36 hours and that was after bathing two times. So yeah, it smells similar and lasts way longer.

Troy did you ever get your nose on fdb oud noir intense. Just got a bottle and it’s amazing. Very high quality, ultra refined. Not a huge performer but the way it shape shifts from spicy to floral to woody is so good. Can’t compare it to carved oud but makes oud wood smell so cheap and synthetic.

Have you tried Oud Noir Intense by FdB? I'm not a fan of Oud Wood either and found that to be slightly better (still not a love). I'll take Versace Oud Noir over Oud Wood lol
