Thameslink Services in the City of London 

Today we are in Central London along the Thameslink line.
Thameslink operates a north-south railway network through London, connecting Luton and Gatwick Airports with major stations in London, such as St. Pancras International, Farringdon, Blackfriars, and London Bridge. The line is quite unusual, in that it actually crosses the city of London instead of terminating at one of the terminals.
The film begins at St. Pancras International station, where the Thameslink platforms only recently opened in 2007. We then move to Farringdon, where there is a direct interchange between Thameslink and the London Underground Circle, Hammersmith & City and Metropolitan lines. The final part of the film shows City Thameslink station.
