Yeah, honestly it's all about checking which skill does what, and how to use your demons. I could've broken them, but I fucked up back because of one wrong move (Debilitate was a bad choice, and Donum Gladi was enough to destroy both stars.) The Level 999 Lucifer fights are very hard, the hardest in the game by far, but I feel they are still manageable whether you cheese them with Chaotic Will or not. For these fights, don't hesitate to play with Press Turns more than with damage. If you can fill up your Magatsuhi gauge, you can get free damage/protection and go to town with the enemy.
@@kaiserkreuz2110 almost the entire game I was ignoring donum and impalers, and man, i now see I couldn't have stood a chance against any of these super bosses. Atlus really came and made a fight harder than the DDS demi fiend
@@Omegaweaponsguy2 To be honest, these are mainly just stat checks after level 400. Once you see the Impaler's Revenge gimmick (that randomly gives the opponent the right to Pierce after being Nulled/Repelled/Drained), the Omagatoki: Pierce and the extra Press Turn, you've seen it all. I'm just doing this for bragging rights lol. The Donum are a bit less strong Charge/Concentrate but without having to use your character turn for it, since it can be cast by another team member, so overall more useful. Impalers aren't that useful if you use Almighty or Pierce attacks to begin with, which are imperative for superbosses like Satan or Demi-Fiend (Yabusame Shot is weak but it's pretty much a free turn.)
Yeah, it's an attack design to one-shot you, unless you tank it with Shield of God or use the dodge build. Thankfully, the stars don't have much HP; I just missed the shot.
Does phase 1 Lucy fall for taunt when throwing stars? Could be a funny strat to have a taunt + endure + enduring soul min level/stats Moh Shvuu on your pocket to vinyl bomb him.
@@J0oBies Tried it just now. Just as good as I'd hoped. The issue is that it can't be amplified with Pleromas or Charge effects. I assume I'd want something like full defense debuff so I can receive more damage and reflect it back to Lucifer. Also, since these are all consecutive battles, I can use those pseudo-deaths on every battle, as long as I ressurect her before I defeat the previous boss. TL;DR: it's busted and cheesy lol. I love it.
@@kaiserkreuz2110 rakunda + amanozako’s passive is probably your best bet for lowering your defense unless you do something with the new strategise magatsuhi skill and demons that have stat changes on entry. It’s just unfortunate that both strats probably mean having the rest of your team having no buffs/ being debuffed though.
Sometimes life surprises you with the opposite case (I've seen such occurences on Nocturne), but this isn't such a case here. Honestly, I had it coming lol.

Because i see that change a lot and i don't know if have a ultimate build for everything or is extreme circumstantial (Sorry for bad english, isn't my first language)

Charge doesn't work unless it's like your final stand, since you have to dismiss all your demons. Critical or Shield of God are the best alternatives. Yes, I'll show my builds after I'm done with the last two challenges. I wonder if I should make it into one video for everything or one video per demon. No problem for the language, and good luck on the grind!
This fight wasnt bad on hard but maaaaaan not knowing if i was gonna break that final fucking star on the extremely hard fight had me fucking sweatin! I cant imagine Goborne lmao 😂😂😂
Out of curiosity, have you tested with stacking impalers glory or omnipotent succession with omagatoki charge for the protagonist? I havent reached the level 999 battles yet but against the superbosses, even on godborn, it works pretty well. Combined with Yoshi's/Mastema's/Baal's passives and intercalation to generate more turns, you can get a ton of high damage hits in. And on the final battle in a vr battle sequence, you can even do the switch demons out on their own turn thing to give more turns to protag
This has proven to be working, but it has to be the turn where you end the fight, otherwise you waste two turns getting your team back (unless you cycle Norn/Dis in the extra member slot.)
Now that I'm here, you got any tips for Satan on NG other than using Luminescent Mirage to avoid his Megido Ark and force him to use Megidolaon? I've been trying to figure out why he sometimes spams Megido Ark. I thought it was because of Sakuya's innate Fire Repel but he has Trisagion already and when his summons use skills that get NRD, they use Impaler's Animus. (I've seen Titania use it at least) My team consists of : Zeus (both Elec Pleromas, using him for his Keraunos) Magic Nahobino (using Ikuyumi with 200 Magic, seems to be the most reliable damage option) Beelzebub (Debilitate then swap out to Michael) Norn/Alilat/Konohana Sakuya for heal/support. Everyone, including those in my stock, have Enduring Soul and their affinities maxed for damage/support with Sutras. I've also used whatever HP/MP incenses I can to boost their HP/MP to 700 or used Great Life Spring (I think my Amon has 900 HP) I have Zaou-Gongen affinities on Nahobino and a resist passive to cover his weakness. I've been farming incenses for a while for my demons and have gotten my main team's Vitality and Magic/Strength to around 150. I could try going for 200 on their stats to match Satan but that'll take a while. I guess it's my only option without copying the strategies people use or switching builds to use Paraselene Blur or any other unique skill Nahobino has?
My strat for Satan was to just tank and heal, but on NG, you might wanna play it differently. If you have Demi-Fiend, you can use Chaotic Will to potentially kill his adds or at least reduce the Press Turns when you need to set up. (I suggest doing Demi-Fiend first because he's actually easier than Satan and both his Essence and the Guest character are super useful.) Zeus with Keraunos is a good idea, especially with a stock full of live demons. Panta Spane is good too AFAIK. Only use Beelzebub with Sakuya for Debilitate. Norn and Alilat will cancel his Innate. What's your precise Nahobino build? I suggest something similar to what I use if you can get the Demi-Fiend's essence.
@@kaiserkreuz2110 Apologies for the late reply, I went to bed right after posting that. My Nahobino has 107 VIT and 199 MAG. (I put all the points I could to MAG). He has : Heavenly Ikuyumi Luminescent Mirage High Almighty Pleroma Almighty Pleroma Enduring Soul Resist Elec (to cover Zaou-Gongen weakness) Resist Phys (something I put on while preparing for Demifiend, decided to tackle Satan first) For the last slot, I'm undecided. Could go for another Endure. EDIT : Or could put in Intercalation since I'm already using Luminescent Mirage. Baal built for Force to take out Hariti quickly with 136 VIT and 170 MAG. (I didn't cover his weakness) Beelzebub to be swapped out after using Debilitate. Zeus built for his Keraunos with 150 STR and 139 VIT. I have both Elec Pleromas. (his weakness is covered). I'm not sure how much of a raise his innate gives to his Crit Rate but I could slot in Critical Zealot and Murderous Glee. I also have 24/24 stock to make the most use of his innate. Alilat built for support, has both Donum Skills, Mediarahan and Debilitate. 166 VIT and 111 MAG. Konohana Sakuya solely built for her unique healing skill. 130 VIT and 140 MAG. I open up with Baal, Nahobino, Beelzebub, Cerberus (in this order). I thought about using Kudlak for his innate that raises all stats when he is KO'd but Megido Ark targeting seems RNG. I also have Amon (Fire focused), Dagda(Figment Slash with crit and hit passives), Yoshitsune(Impaler's for his Hassou Tobi), Cleopatra(Ice Focused), Michael (Fire and Almighty I guess? Couldn't think of a build for him.) I could go for Demifiend then Satan if I have to farm even more incenses for my demons.
@@flynn1545 That's a solid build. Is the problem that he one shots you or he outheals your damage? For the former, you might want the Demi-Fiend's essence so you can get rid of the Resists and put either Endure or a passive/active skill of your choice. If it's the latter, make sure to use AOE like Yabusame Shot, Moonlight Frost (useful for Mag Nahobino) and Amon's Megido Flame, or even Shiva's Tandava. You need to weaken the demons so he doesn't heal too much, then once you get the weaknesses you want, just go to town with him. I think you have the stats for it now. Hope this helps. If not, you can always tell me where the problem lies when you fight him again. He's the hardest boss on vanilla playthroughs for a reason.
@@kaiserkreuz2110 Thanks for the pointers. Yeah the issue I have is not being able to weaken his summons so he doesn't heal a lot. I tried going on the full offensive with all four units attacking and using Bead Chains to heal the damage but when I don't use Luminescent Mirage he just presses the Megido Ark "you die" button on my party one by one. I'll try employing Shiva and Amon more, already have Yabusame Shot on the former, could alternate between the two to save on resources. I'll try a few more times and tell how it goes.
@@flynn1545 Sounds good. Yeah, you need a lot of Piercing moves with elemental properties. Since prior to Godborn, your stats are pretty much limited (unless you grind through game cycles/playthroughs), it doesn't leave as much leeway as when you're maxed out. I won't lie, I beat him on Safety because I wanted to play on Godborn and I didn't understand his patterns at the time. Now that I do, I feel like I should've been pushing it more. I had Masakado, a very good Almighty damager, as well as demons who could tank most of the attacks, although the stats weren't on par with your demons'.
It's the challenge mode where he's level 999, with nearly maxed out stats (974 Str, 750 Vit, 999 mag & Agi and 964 Luck) and his Innate Skill during the Dark phase is atrocious.
